Speaking of MindsEye, the game is now going for deep sales to entice people to buy.
This is what the breakdown of the standard and deluxe editions are on the PS Store.
I love /s how they include “regularly released content” as a selling point for the base game. Wow! I wonder how that turned out?
And for the Deluxe, you get Exclusive Playable Content! Gosh, at least that’s better than exclusive Non-Playable content! (What the heck would that even mean???)

I hope they do, but apart from the outcome of this studio’s paranoid leadership, they shouldn’t feel the need to nessesarily publish in the AAA game space. Especially with the gross amount of layoffs in games, an independant studio would be a safer investment and benefit more from the help, at least in my eyes. Plus it could help rinse away the mud of this fallout.

The Mindseye section is now gone from the website menu, but the page does still exist if you have the link - not in English by default any more. MindsEye - Auf Wunschliste setzen
IOI Partners partners webpage has been mostly cleaned of Mindseye stuff, but not fully. Also the images are just replaced with random bond or 2021 freelancer promo.

Interesting that despite recent news that BARB and IOI have ended their Partnership, today I received an email from IOI newsletter recommended me to buy MindsEye for 50% discount! It mentioned that recent community feedback was much more positive after a range of patches that ‘significantly’ improve the overall experience apparently…
Sorry, but that’s still not making me touch this game. Even if it wasn’t for the disasterous launch, this game never interested me anyways to be honest. Cyberpunk scratches that modern netrunning itch for me enough!

This mission is reportedly a repuposed version of MindsEye’s cancelled Hitman crossover, which bit the dust when Build a Rocket Boy and IO Interactive ended their publishing agreement last month.

Unless third parties sent people to get employed to work on the game years ago to make the actual game terrible, I wish they’d stop beating this drum.
The game sucks. They just need to accept it and move on.

Somebody needs to turn off the automated community posts, they’re no longer in Partnership together!
