Assuming that other big games haven’t came to Android similar to the RE titles I’d hold your breath.
Well, lets hope.
But in comparison, other sp games don’t get android ports due to the piracy of games on android, but Hitman is an online game, maybe some will pirate it but you need to go online to access most features, maybe IOI can leave even fewer missions available offline to prevent that from happening.

A video showcasing the Co-Op mode that the team have been working on! I don’t think there’s anything particularly new there, though it looks like to be on Miami so maybe we’ll have the ability to play on all main mission maps by the time of the final release.

I don’t care about co-op, but I think it’s a nice way to get new players. I hope however in new real content (new campaign, bonus missions, restored cut content). Please! There are a lot of things still unused or underused maps.
The last new campaign was Seven Deadly Sins. Another one woulb be great

I swear to god, they had better not put any content locks behind that shit, requiring us to play X amount in order to obtain it. That was annoying in Ghost Mode, and I certainly don’t want to be playing this in order to unlock anything.

On a more hopeful note, what we’ll get is probably going to be smoother than this? Footage looks like it’s from the H2-era, so there’s probably a lot of spit and polish planned before they actually push the mode out?

My point is, I don’t want to play with another person to get something that’s locked. I like the fact that Hitman is a solo game, and if some people want it to be like every other game and that game’s mother by having co-op/multiplayer options, fine, but don’t involve me, and that includes requiring me to play it in order to get locked items.

If there are challenges/Mastery, item/suit unlocks, or even full-on new missions and targets in the co-op mode, then I really, really, really hope that there’s an option to play the new content single player too. Either doing it as just Knight or just Stone, or a way to swap back and forth between them in-mission.

They cropped out the UI that made it pretty clear that this was old footage from H2 when they initially working on a co-op mode back then.

I really hope that some unlocks are gated behind a co-op mode so that @Heisenberg has to team up with me for a joint run, and I can just wander about in my glove-less disguise, leaving fingerprints all over the place and graffiti-ing “Heisenberg woz 'ere” on every wall I pass.

Also in H2, NPCs didn’t get the ? until they’re about to start walking (or so I’ve been told) just like in the footage, and Stone seems to have the cover animation from H2 rather than H3…
And there were some leaks involving Knight and Stone in different outfits all the way back in H2 days as I remember. As I understand, they played with the idea of co-op back then, cancelled but started working on it again more recently.

Yip. There’s some remnants of it still in Paris making it possible to put 47 in a Knight or Stone skin.

That I would be OK with. A lot of the non-SA options in the game, and a lot of the un-47-like equipment would be much more palatable to use if we had the skins of entirely different agents to use in some cases.
Honestly this video is really poor. There is nothing special in the video that make me want to play coop. Those two guards killed without reason and one still sees the other dying. And then two bodies dragged.
