Glad someone finally appreciated the names I made (Damn, I should have spelled his name “Xu Tie Boi”). Now that it’s in Freelancer I could add them all to the REPO so they show in map when targets, but… eh.
I left Piepieonline to do all that stuff but as far as I’m aware he did a direct copy of the Berlin sniper logic regarding PiP camera, so if Berlin sniper doesn’t lag for you but Noodle Massacre sniper does… I’ve got zero clue why some people get this (I don’t get lag, and my PC isn’t even that good)
I was updating this mod for Peacock plugin to work and be integrated in the SMF mod, when I decided I’d ‘de-convert’ the mod to not use raw files now that 2 years has passed and SMF is much quicker at deploying non-raw files; this will result in less ‘warnings’ during deploy, and hypothetically make this mod more compatible with other mods. Before I put the update out I wanted to pose a couple possibilities to you that would affect its release:
When I started this mod I cut corners by making a duplicate of the Chongqing map, which was then 100x easier to delete what I wanted from The Block without making the whole building glitch out or having to delete thousands of entities one by one. This ended up being a poor decision for the future because it was harder to make work in Freelancer (But I found a way in the end) and have compatibility with other mods. It’s technically fine now I’ve put in the time to make this bad choice work and Sieni was kind enough to let Lighting Ultimate accommodate my bad technique, but I was wondering should I restructure the mod to not use a duplicate. Upsides: Smaller mod, easier to do things with Noodle Massacre in the future, the map will receive any game updates from IO Downsides: All the Hush Block crap will remain there (Just no NPCs or items) apart from the room which gets used for Freelancer/Random woman, and maybe the entrance lobby thing; will delay the mod updates release by I don’t know how long… a bit, probably
Should I restructure the mod to be smaller and more efficient but Hush’ junk is brought back to The Block?
Yes, change it
No, keep it as is, it works fine/I don’t want Hush’ junk back

I’m thinking of doing a “Police outfits” mod in the near future which will feature the Chongqing police outfit. However there are so many variations of the outfit I don’t know which ones to put in the mod. I’m going to pick two at most. I don’t have pictures of every single variation so why don’t you tell me what clothing pieces you like most, and I’ll pick the two closest to the top results
Which police outfit features would you most like to see as an outfit mod to use on all maps?
Beret instead of police cap
Short sleeve
Long Sleeve
Military Jacket
Mask instead of no mask
Gloves
No Gloves
Wet weather poncho
Bullet Proof vest (aka the sniper variant)
Spectacles instead of no glasses
I don’t want to play on other maps in the Chinese police outfit.
Fixed and integrated the Peacock plugin, made some backend changes that should reduce SMF “Warnings” and incompatibilities. Decided not to restructure the mod to use vanilla map’s file and bring back the Hush crap in this update; may happen in a future update.
Changelog
Fixes Peacock Plugin
Integrates Peacock Plugin to SMF mod
Converts mod to “SMF-Friendlier” formats (Reduces ‘warning’ messages)
Moves Police Outfit hero versions to chunk0 for future use in an outfit mod
Fixes possible previous issue where police outfit was hostile on apartment roof
Small update based on things I noticed watching people play the map in Freelancer, as well as small things I noticed on my own.
Changelog
• Gives “Random Man” unique ID to avoid witness system and freelancer target bugs
• Reduces cop enforcers
• Possible fix to CCTV not counting as erased if you were recorded on two particular cameras
• Extra body morgue at back of restaurant
• Fixes cop with wrong shirt
If you only play this mod via Freelancer Variations then don’t worry about this, it is automatically included in the FV update
