1.1.1 - FV and Random ToDs Compatibility

While I was making the Freelancer variants I (and Kercyx) fixed and tweaked some things that applied to the map generally.

An update will be out by tonight’s end for Freelancer Variations and Random ToDs (should just be a JSON update as the ToD files are now included in Real Yacht SMF mod)

Reminder that this mod switched over to Mission Companion weeks ago and to delete RealYacht.dll

Changelog

  • Some lighting changes in preparation for night ToD
  • You can no longer fall off the yacht
  • NPCs should no longer be able to walk through various objects and fences
  • Player can now walk between more couches and coffee tables
  • Less things should disappear when you ‘look at them the wrong way’ (Still an iffy area with closets on bottom floor)
  • Adds some food to the yacht… is meant to be a party after all
  • Floor 1 toilet door only opens inwards, so that lady doesn’t block it from closing any more
  • Fixes various floating stuff
  • Bodies dumped in engine are now hidden

@Kevin_Rudd
Is this mod safe for downloading yet, I just got rid of error 0xc0000142 on my game and I don’t want to run into any launch issues again

Just exploring

1.2 - The Car Park!

I was updating Freelancer Variations when I realised the files I had sitting in Real Yacht were vastly different to what’s currently in FV. To end the confusion I decided to finish the WIP update I started over half a year ago of Real Yacht, to expand the map to include the car park next to the port, and make appropriate changes to make use of it.

Changelog

  • Expands playable area to include car park (Made reasonable by @AtomicForce’s navmesh work)
  • Adds 4 NPCs (Story/Freelancer only) including two guards and their dialogue cut from the Hitman Alpha
  • Extends garage trespassing zone to include fenced area
  • Changes camera positions
  • Replaces fake parking lot lamps with functional ones
  • Offline contract now comes with random ToDs in built
  • Night: Makes moon stronger and better position
  • Re-did custom models to correctly receive bullet impacts and other things

Please note Mission Companion is still broken since game update, so there is currently no way to play online or in Peacock, only offline (And in FV via its Peacock plugin). A second update may be required if after it’s working it turns out I’ve busted something in contracts mode or escalation

This looks so good :open_mouth: did you have to make any changes to Miami itself to fit the timeline of the mission? I believe the yacht level was in the 1980s? You could put some phone boxes about, or (now) old cars

Since the original mission was neither done by 47 or in Miami, there was no point setting it in 1998. This is a re-imagining
