Artists, man. Some truly wacko Artists.
Also, I don’t think that trailer is the real deal. There’s no mention or scene of the Winnie the Pooh character, and it’s really poorly edited. Also randomly ends without a title or anything?
Probably just some random youtube person trying to leech off the hype, and you fell for it.

tbh I saw the trailer in a article, half watched it as I was doing other stuff at the same time and sent it here.
Now after rewatching, yea, not only this looks wacko, it has absolutely no plot, tho as much as I read online, the plot is basically Christopher Robin abandons Winnie and Piglet so they go on a murder spree, I still need to know who is the person that had this awful idea.
Here is a link to an article that explains it fine enough: 'Winnie the Pooh' Horror Movie 'Blood and Honey' Explained by Director - Variety

Will this redeem the franchise? Hard to say, but I abmit I’m interested.

I don’t think the franchise needs to be “redeemed” necessarily - we’re not talking about the Terminator series here - but I do hope they can capture the feel of the first film again, where you don’t know where the Predator is but you know it’s out there and there’s all those long and slow shots of trees to help fuel the paranoia. This looks like it’ll be the closest to that.

Fair enough. At this point, They need to do a full reboot of Terminator instead of keep trying to pick up from T2 Judgement Day.

Personally, I see it all as one continuity in a multi-timeline multiverse (beat the MCU to the punch on that) that just shows each timeline getting worse and worse until eventually John Connor of 2029 just says fuck it, let that Austrian android kill my mom, it’s the best outcome.

i gotta admit, predator is great but 2 is my preference. it’s hilariously ridiculous; like tucker carlson’s nightmares made real.

Yeah, I enjoyed the second movie too. I think the backlash it got was a bit unwarrented, but to each person’s own.

i got the hate, i just didn’t care. it’s too funny. the final fight between glover and the predator goes on for ages; longer than the one in they live! i love it.
also: busey.

I don’t recall actively hating any of those franchise movies. Terminator, Predator, heck even the Star Wars ones, didn’t hate any of them. My only real criteria for watching a movie is that i needs to entertain me for a couple of hours (roughly). If it can manage that, I’m good with it.
I’m looking forward to Prey. Looks like it should be entertaining.

If there is anyone in Hollywood that can take a standalone film stretch it into another film it is the mind behind the Hangover movies.

Ooh, I LOVE the stage musical of Matilda, and the production quality looks very good in this short tease. Can’t wait!

I will go on record with my early review of Joker 2. You can mark this down and come back to it in a couple years when the movie finally gets released. At that time I will entertain question on how my time machine works.

I assume like the original it will be lesser than the works it takes from and a horrible take on the character

i’ve always had a fantasy of writing the goodfellas musical. it’d include such hits as “all my life i wanted to be a gangster”, “dance that drink over here, spider”, and the future #1 smash-hit “funny how?”

It is literally the film Scorsese made after Taxi Driver. It was a musical called New York, New York"

If they can make an American Psycho musical, a Spider-Man musical and even a King Kong musical they have to do Goodfellas at some point right?

i better get on that then.

So is it going to be a Jukebox musical using the songs that are already on the film’s soundtrack, is it going to be original songs or a mixture of the two?
