Murder Mystery Game šŸ” 2.0

Sorry, I’ll pass this time. It’s good to see the game being revived, though, so I wish you all have gun… uh I mean fun!

Sorry Mano. I have been on vacation and when I get back (flying in about 16 hours) I’m sure I’ll have a giant pile of things on my desk.

Sorry didn’t see this until way later. I would have loved to, but I’m going to be leaving for probably another half a year before I’ll be able to do anything. But now that you’ve reminded me of this, I’ll buy a sketchbook to bring with me so I can get to making a game!

This seems really cool!!! My character (Pfp is Thom Yorke from Radiohead) can definitely shine :star:!

I might get a bit confused on the rules from time to time, but I’ll manage.

Dartmoor is the best Hitman 3 map and so i shall have to play this!

Yo, what’s up?

In my hunt of reviving stuff, I came across this extremely interesting topic. Ladies, Gentlemen, Entities and whatever else there might be, shall we breathe life into this fascinating game once again?

I don’t know if it would be possible or how it could work… What about an escape room topic game?

I’m thinking it would need clues using emojis and maybe a collapsible description.

There would be a room master who works out the clues and how they relate to the other clues. Ultimately, the players would need to find a key or other item that activates or opens a door in order to escape.

Each player would choose a thing to examine or do something to. The room master would then reply what that action would result regarding the clue (if it would reveal it or not).

:balance_scale: :bow_and_arrow:

This could refer to the weight of the bow
Or it could be the pulling weight when drawing the string

:locked: A

There must be a key hidden somewhere…

:wrapped_gift:

A player replies that they open the gift.
Room master replies they found a :pen: inside.

:love_letter:

A player chooses to look at the letter.

The Room master replies… The letter might have a poem or haiku or vague phrase that refers to another item in the room. Or could be a series of numbers that refer to (just about anything). Whatever.

The other players can use this info for something else later.

Re: the picture emoji below…
The room master would need to describe what is in the picture. The picture itself might be a clue, or it could be hiding something…

:framed_picture:

The picture

a black and white beagle playing with a yellow bird.

Is that a clue or just a mundane, pointless red herring?

maybe the picture is covering a safe inside the wall. Well, that will usually need a combination or pin to open.

I don’t know. Maybe it’s way too big of an idea and/or would take too much work. I can’t even imagine how it would end up going. But it does sound like a fun idea.

Sounds like you want to volunteer as the next host, which is fine of course. :ok_hand: I doubt many long-term members are interested though so you’ll have to hope to attract new players.

You were gonna be host 2 years ago, so why don’t you take it?
I’m still getting used to it.

I don’t have as much free time as I use to but If there’s enough players, then I’ll consider stepping in again.

Who do you think would join once more?

The game is open for everyone to see. Whoever wants to join will join and those who don’t simply won’t.

It seems that nobody wanted to join.
Truly depressing.
