Did they add anything new at all, or is this really just a reskin/dialogue replacement? I have no motivation to really play much of this unless they’ve added something new to it.

Best way to complete? Start at the Chapel with a sniper and kill with the headphone accident after he change clothes for break

I don’t have too much of an issue with it being a reskinned mission. Its what people have been asking for since The Disruptor got 86’d.
Yeah having to rebuy it if you own The Disruptor pack already isn’t too great, but hey, talk with your wallet. This situation is better than the content being in the vault tbh.

The Disruptor no longer shows up in ETA Arcade unless you own the DLC.
Items from the Disruptor DLC Pack were added to the World Series Pack as a Bonus with the exception of the Suits as what players are reporting.
I really don’t know how to feel about this. Cause IOI’s solution was slapdash the ET with Wiz Khalifa and water down the original premium DLC pack granting the items in a new cosmetic DLC.
should of been a circumstance where people who purchased The Disruptor pack initially got The World Series Pack for free that way the integrity of the original purchase is still preserved and respected while being able to offer an alternative solution to the people who missed out initially via a $5 purchase.

The glued on goatee of Quinn personal trainer is very funny.
So is Graves having the opposite personality toward how his name is told by the Master of Ceremony compared to the other guy.
I don’t think there are any new gameplay opportunities in the ET.
But presentation is much more refined.
- more effects,
- custom textures,
- new unique disguises,
- the combat sequence is longer,
- the DJ added ask 47 for his own entry theme,
- new music…
Also no camera pan at the start (for Dribble). And no Gama end cinematic (for Heis).
I like it.
- Isle of Sgail lower levels, the more swiss cheese and underutilised in the main mission part of the level, used in a proper setting. A reason to go to the kitchen, bar, southern wall… for non-traversal reasons.
- With a surprisingly systemic mission.
- Being able to shoot the bell to roundbreak is a favourite of mine.
- In general I appreciate that every part or of the event can be used or manipulated.
And it sanitized the game.
Sound mixing could be better though.
@Count.Rushmore two DLCs were released in the roadmap.
The second one, the World Champions Pack, can be found in the store tab, amongst the Cosmetic packs like the Trinity Pack or Makeshift Pack.
It’s the Sport themed one.
The old Disruptor items and safehouse cosmetics are an hidden part of it.

Noticed that some of the old NPC dialogue isn’t subtitled anymore, if its even there at all. Did they not want to re-record the lines to scrub mentions of the Disruptor? Yeah, this feels embarrassing even for lazy reskin standards.
Edit: on second playthrough, it is there, just not subtitled. It’s the guys who walk from the courtyard to the effigy area. Not as bad as I thought it was, but come on. Yes, I know some dialogue not being subtitled anymore is minor, but if we’re being sold the same thing again, I want it to be polished to a fault.
After Bruce Lee I should ask - in this updated version, if you never interrupt the fight, can Quinn lose the fight and cause you to fail the mission?
Nevermind, i’m done bitching about the WoA or wanting a new game. I get now what i’ve always wanted, my beloved Codename 47 HD Remaster on console. I’m a happy man.

Target can escape just like original Disruptor mission, but curiously, it says it’s… optional?
So I let curiosity get the better of me, and well:
The mission keeps going after he escapes. Meaning you can be on the map forever unable to kill him haha. Diana never gave any warning either.

If they just reskinned the disruptor (as much as I’m not the biggest fan on how they’ve went about it) does this mean we could get a reskin for Gary busey and get that in the game full access

Probably won’t, just because Gary Busey as an ET kinda sucks. A very public target with several bodyguards and not many map changes. The Disruptor/Wizard has a ton more map changes, and has far more options for killing the target.
If they decide on doing another Sapienza ET I would much rather it be a new higher-effort ET like the other celeb ETs. Heck do it on Landslide so that bonus mission finally gets an ET since The Author was made into a PZ mission

More to the point, I don’t think there’s anywhere near the same demand for a redo of the Gary Busey ET. Partially because… yeah… it kinda sucks, but also it’s not related to any special unlocks, and it is not any special type of variation of the map and with no added gameplay.
