We’ve been bamboozled 
I wanted them to at least reveal who the target was, but it seems that the real reveal might happen soon, maybe next week?
The wording on the post made it seem that the guy is not the target, maybe it’s just IO collaborating with some influencer to promote the new ET, although he also labels himself as a pro wrestler.

Yet another celebrET I don’t recognise. But then again, if I’m posting on this forum, I’m not the person IO is trying to get into this game with their marketing stunts.

As far as I understand the twitter post it seems like we’re gonna be targeting some 47 impersonator, or a clone maybe? That would at least be consistent with the fact that the guy he’s based on is a cosplayer.

At a second glance at the tweet, it seems that this is the case. Wouldn’t make sense otherwise since this is meant to be 47 getting ready to head out for the next ET.
The fact Leon’s profile says “Pro Wrestler” could just be a coincidence.

What… the hell… did I just watch? That was either the worst motion-capture CGI ever, or someone who looks in no way like 47 aside from being white and bald (those eyes don’t even look naturally blue, but animated), putting on a suit and… picking up gloves that aren’t even his. I wouldn’t call that a teaser, because that told us nothing. Just… nothing. You could tell me it was a film student’s project submitted for approval and that would make more sense. I’m so confused.

that was chubby/latex puppet 47 for The Drop promo. You don’t go *worse than that! You can ONLY go up from there! 
“Worse”: Now, come on IOI, that isn’t a challenge.
Other than that, I’d say - (I know it’s brand Heisenberg™) don’t be so cynical. All it’s doing is ramping up hype. Or trying to. This will get those who are big into cosplay (I guess) …will get their interest piqued. We still have yet to see who the MMA “star” will be. Kind of a strange group to bring together, but if it can work…
Re: CGI 47. I’d bet they’re using this cosplayer because of the complaints they surely got over… it.

It did absolutely nothing to drive up my interest, it just made me want to not look at it anymore, it was Uncanny Valley as hell. I can take slightly puffy-cheeked 47 from The Drop announcement trailer anytime over that.

Huh… Doesn’t seem like its the reveal of the actual target given the wording and how he’s “dressing up as 47, looking for his next ET”, it’s just weird that the first news we get about this CelebET is seemingly some promo for content we still have no idea what it’s about.
But… he might actually be a wrestler, so he might actually be the target?? IDK, this was weird.

You know, I can see what they’re going for. I get the audience reach made.
It feels way too much on the try-hard end of the spectrum for me to smile at it, but I don’t think I’m the intended audience. Beside, I’m already here, so no need to captivate me.
For the ET, I’m mostly curious as to where it’s going to be.
If it wasn’t for the Drop, I would say Berlin since the Rage has a makeshift ring in the dance floor/spent fuel pool in the briefing.

My non-Berlin guess, which is based on absolutely nothing is Ambrose Island.
They could put the ring either where the slap fight occurs, or they could empty out the caves where the Ether satellite controls lives. Would also satisfy the desire people have to get an ET there.
