By this point, it feels like we are going to have a reveal with an “available now” flair.
I’m actually more intrigued by the lack of patch/server update. Or at least communication around one coming.
There must be one coming up soon for what is going to be released, no?

Well, this reveals something. The line “prepare for the hunt,” and the showing of the gun and fists together, suggests that @thrison’s theory may be correct and this target will not have a specialized fighting scenario, but that it’s just a fighting target and so that’s the theme, and the options for elimination will be no different or more special than any other ET. It doesn’t necessarily mean that will be the case, but the statement of hunting the target down and the showing of the gun implies that they don’t want to overemphasis fighting the target directly, because it won’t be anything different than what’s come before.
Hopefully I’m reading that wrong, but that’s what seems to be subtly implied with that teaser.

Just… temper your expectations, friends. I’m sure there will be many of us who enjoy and appreciate the content, but I also expect a fair amount of “that’s all??” comments here (and on ye olde reddit).
Pretend it’s a new Star Wars movie. Go in not expecting to be satisfied, and maybe you’ll be pleasantly surprised… ok maybe modern Star Wars is a bad choice then

I’d rather you say something more substantial than dragging this out any further.
The fact the last roadmap ended a month ago and your community have had no idea what is happening content-wise for a whole month is frankly ridiculous. A redacted roadmap that concealed the identity of the CelebrET, while informing people of upcoming challenges/FCs/Y4 ETs would have been much better than saying absolutely nothing.
Hell, you haven’t even confirmed that there will be a maintenance period coming up very shortly. When your game is always online, you need to be giving people a decent headsup that the servers are going down. Giving only five minutes notice via a single post on X/Twitter (which is what happened in March) is not good enough.

Finally! Some good freakin’ news.
All the silence from IO has been very odd to say the least, I can’t recall the last time they even gave us a roadmap. I remember it was the Season of Undying for like 3 whole months, then nothing after that. Hope there’s a roadmap reveal with tomorrow’s update. Finally the waiting for this ET is almost over…
Just like the last two Celebr-ETs I’m fully expecting an unlockable suit based on the ET’s look… those orange finger-less gloves from this new teaser and the furcoat from the last one would make for a sick look.
So excited for this.

Hopefully there’s also a roadmap reveal, if there is a twitch drop or something else time limited tied to the ET it would be nice to know beforehand.
