@Sany-72Q I think This Elusive target suitable your job
Wow, and to top it all off, assuming that’s his actual voice, his voice acting sucks. The rest of the NPCs are one thing, but this is supposed to be based on an actual guy and he sounds like a game character. That’s a lousy briefing video. Diana’s voice is the best thing about it.
Checked the target performance:
On November 26, 2017, in a bar in Dublin, the father of Graham Whelan, the leader of the mafia’s “Savior Kinahan,” and a young man who tried to persuade him to fight were beaten up
On April 6, 2018: After hearing that his teammate Atem Lobov was surrounded by his opponent Numagomedov after the game, he took a private plane to New York and smashed the bus carrying UFC players, causing multiple injuries and withdrawal from the race. He was named and criticized by UFC President Bai Dana
On October 6, 2018: After being defeated by Nurmagomedov in the UFC229 final, he insulted the opponent’s country, faith, and family, and was surrounded and beaten by Nurmagomedov and his team
March 2019: After being flashed by a photography fan in Las Vegas, their phone was stolen and smashed
August 2019: After refusing to offer a toast to an elderly person at a tavern in Dublin, he punched and assaulted the elderly person
On October 17, 2021, after his son’s baptism ceremony, DJ Francisco Maginetti’s nose bridge was broken at a nightclub
June 10, 2023: In Game 4 of the NBA Finals, Connor and the Miami Heat mascot “Bernie” went on the stage to promote a pain relief spray. Connor jokingly punched Bernie twice and unexpectedly stunned the actor on the spot
Welp, that was a…tepid roadmap and patchnotes (Oh yeah, there are patchnotes).
I am not happy, and the wait for this roadmap did not make me feel “hyped!” either. It frustrated me and others to no end, and my mood and initial feelings have not improved post-reveal. To say that I’m more excited for the challenges than I am for anything else (and half of those aren’t for another month) should give you some idea of how much I dislike this roadmap.
The Disrupter ET is…weirdly in Sgail…why? We’ve already got ET’s on Sgail, and Ambrose doesn’t even have one yet! I can understand passing on Haven and New York (DLC locations which would be a hard sell), but this is such a wasted opportunity. I can’t speak for the quality of the mission just yet, but It’s getting quite annoying seeing no extra content for Ambrose.
The Disrupter-themed DLC was something I saw coming a mile away (you did it for the undying, so this was an easy guess to make), same with the purple briefcase unlock for Twitch (again, both a suit and duck were made for it, so a briefcase to complete the set was a very easy hit). Even the suit, which I thought I’d like from what little I saw from teasers, looks very awkward on 47, at least imo.
Finally, to cap off this event, we have nine new bug fix notes…Nine. For the three and a bit months we had to wait for a new patch, I’d be a little more…proactive on the state of the game. Maybe there’s some internal changes to the game that are too boring to list, but there has to be more changes than to localisation to items and server-related weapon mis-categorisation that you could mention?. It feels like minimum effort on that front, as if to say “Yeah, we fixed the game up a bit!”, when this is basically a nothing burger as updates go.
Some improvements for the future, and stop me if you’ve heard this before…
Talk. To. Us.
You do not benefit from staying silent; it breeds frustration, annoyance and apathy among your fans. Being so unnecessarily secretive and trying to build hype around something that was known for around a month is a huge misfire PR-wise.
The roadmap is limp in general, but making things worse is the content seems to be released in batches on specific dates, which I really don’t think is a good idea; separate them out throughout July or something, giving people a reason to keep coming back to your Live Service game. Getting people to wait for a month for two challenges is not the way to go about pleasing people. At least breadcrumbs of content throughout the month keep the game in my mind more than an upcoming event.
I’m going to play some Yakuza: Like a Dragon for a bit. At least there I feel a sense of accomplishment and justification for sticking around and grinding the tunnels under Yokohama, even if the games’ content slate is finished.
Don’t think I’ve ever agreed with you more there, Drib.
Something weird is that the roadmap blog post has pictures of The Gunrunner and The Stowaway even though they’ve already been ran. Also, it’s weird to run three Isle of Sgail ETs so close to each other instead of trying to spread them out.
On the other hand, one bit of confirmation we got from the trailer is that this ET almost definitely comes after the end of the main storyline, like The Drop. Diana’s name-dropping of the Ark Society, which I don’t think she mentioned with The Appraiser or The Stowaway, makes this pretty clear.
Now, it’s possible that this one took place between the Whittleton Creek and Isle of Sgail missions in H2, like Ambrose Island does (and my own theory of the Siberian sniper mission also taking place in that time as well), and 47 was able to become familiar with the island and Grey was able to arrange getting one of his guys there because of this mission taking place a few weeks before as they wait for the Constant to arrive. But, I doubt it, and we’d have to get confirmation that both Providence and ICA are still around during this mission for it to be true.
I’m gonna assume that, since the Ark Society was only an offshoot of Providence, that it managed to survive without them, with the majority of its members unaware of the loss of the Society’s original backers, and that’s why they’re still around for this mission to take place there. We’ll figure out the details after playing it, but it’s virtually certain to take place during the post-ICA/Freelancer era like The Drop.
Seems you can actually fight the guy.

I am not happy with the ET, because well… McGregor… and Sgail?
And at this point I really don’t like all the ridiculous stuff anymore. I want some nice suits for 47, something that fits his character. And some nice furniture for the safehouse, not a pool full of money. What does that have to do with 47?
All these targets and clothes feel more like done by old people trying to be cool. Go play Fortnite then
Guess not everyone would hate a Grey Spin Off now, huh?
That must be the “major deviation from the norm”
Not happy about that, as I’ll have to break my Parameters of Perfection to finish him off that way, as those gloves are fingerless. Disappointing. Then again, I can just save that one for the Arcade contract and have my official record in killing this prick be intact for the live ET.
How long do you think it will be before they give us that fighting outfit with the blue trunks and the gloves as an unlock?
Funny how a lot of yall hate this ET because its McGregor. You get to kill the person you all seem to hate. Doenst that make you happy a little…?
I don’t know the ins and outs of his missteps, and I realise it could hurt IO’s image, but it makes up for a great ‘kill this famous person’ opportunity.
The fact they used McGregor, despite all his shit in the past, makes we wonder why IO don’t want to bring back The Wildcard…
I think it’s more about legitimizing him and helping put more money in his pocket for it. The second one isn’t really an issue, because he’s certainly already been paid and it was with money we already gave IOI for the game long ago, so we already did that, no way to help it; you own the game, you helped pay McGregor. If you pay your taxes, you’ve already given your money to worse people. The first one is more understandable.
i miss all the guys In IO who they worked behind HITMAN 2 roadmaps and dlcs . These guys are now going with this title into The Worse!
Should we move talking about roadmap to another topic? I would rather discuss it there than here.
And the fact that he is celebrated so much as a person. On Twitter, he is celebrated by his fanboys in the comments. But that’s what IOI wanted. More mainstream
Not in the slightest. I play Hitman for fun, not some meaningless revenge.
Also, I don’t hate MacGregor, exactly. I hate his actions, I hate that there hasn’t been any accountability for them and I hate that IO has decided to contribute to that lack of accountability in the name of “growing their audience” or whatever.
Gotta say I like that they set this mission in Sgail, was a pleasant surprise when I watched the trailer. It’s cool to see them do new content of this scale for a pre-H3 level. They have re-activated The Appraiser and Jimmy Chen a million times by now so it should feel like a tired choice of location for a new ET, but it really doesn’t IMO. In a way it feels refreshing since we haven’t really had new stuff for the H2 maps in literal years.
Still it’s kinda weird that they put his fighting cage in front of the burning effigy stairs, where the burning money pit was in the original mission. Just feels like a weird place to put it in, wouldn’t the gallery building have fit better? Or the central courtyard by the island’s front gates. Feels a bit random.
Also I like that Quantum Leap CEO Tim Quinn is in the mission as a major NPC, finally we get a pay-off to him, after he was mentioned so many times through the trilogy. Last time he was mentioned it was during Jason Portman’s calls in HAVEN right? Love when they connect the worldbuilding like that even years after the fact.
Have you watched the mission’s briefing? Minor spoilers - It doesn’t have any of the ICA triangle logo thingies like previous ET briefings had so it’s safe to say it’s set in the Freelancer era (or as I like to call it, the cruel ICA-less world), just like The Drop and Dartmoor Garden Show.
Doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be mention of them during gameplay or something. Like I said, I don’t think there will be, but until we actually play it, we won’t know for sure when it’s set.
