My first thought was, that it would be cool, if he comes back in an ET in Hokkaido or somewhere else.
When they had The Undying earlier this year, I also thought, “Yeah, it’s nice, that he has an eyepatch in the second one, but it is the exact same mission again”. Would have been more fun, if he would have come back somewhere else and 47 had to hunt him again, since he really seems to be Undying. Maybe they do something like that with this one. I doubt it, but would be a nice idea.
Not trying to disrupt the thread, but after reading some of these posts. I feel it might be best to have a thread where we can discuss the state of the game, the most recent patch, and just a way to consolidate any grievances we have with the most recent update all in one place.
I have my opinions, but I need to put them down somewhere and sort through it first before I give my “two cents”.
I hope everyone who is taking part in the new content is enjoying it, I have yet to touch it. I’m just trying to gather my thoughts first after seeing how sparse the patch notes were for HITMAN 3.
Played this in the arcade. Did the substitute mission story and talked the guy into switching. After defeating him, I was almost going to exit the cage but decided to go back and tea-bag him. I did, then the ref raised his hand, and then 47… Then the mission was complete without having to exfiltrate.
2nd Arcade level… I forgot about the no disguise change.
I’d like to see where he goes between rounds and see if I can’t get him from there. I mean, for the actual ET.
Edit: Oh! I’m curious if there is any dialogue made towards the ET about “break a leg!” Cause that’d be savage!
Just curious. Is the new Arcade level permanent or also for a limited time?
Permanent if you buy the premium cosmetic pack.
Spoiler alert
He really survived? Like what?!
People telling me it’s sooo unrealistic that Grey could have survived, Grey, who is a genetically modified human with extraordinary physical abilities. But the stupid bare knuckle boxer with the IQ of a pineapple (pun intended) survived?!
Guess 47 should retire, he is bad at his job!
@Combatglue - please can you ask the IOI tech team/devs to have a look at a problem I’m having with The Disruptor Pack DLC? I purchased the pack and it is registered in my Steam Library (and I have an email receipt for the purchase/payment), but the game itself is not recognising that I own the DLC content?

Can’t access The Disruptor Pack content in Freelancer:
Pack remains ‘unticked’ in the game’s Store page, suggesting I don’t own it:
But click through on that link, and I do own it!
EDIT - I have also submitted a Zendesk support ticket for this issue.
lol. Seems off.
I’m certain this is a reference to what happens in that (remake?) movie of Road House (on Amazon Prime).
Spoiler warning if you ever consider watching the movie. Link added. NSFW? since it shows his
And, just for the record, McGregor’s role in that movie seems to be mainly comedic relief (in a bombastic sort of way) and secondarily as the role of antagonist to the main character.
Such as the part where he’s driving a student driver’s car recklessly down the road. It makes one ask the question… How did he come to obtain that car?
It belongs in a museum!
Finally, we’re starting to shift spacetime towards singularity.
…Uhhh…about that…
So if this mission is meant to take place after the main campaign (and it makes the most sense to do so lore-wise), this may need resolving somehow…
Maybe whoever took over his company after Diana disbanded Providence invited him back as CEO?
Of course, it could just be that, unlike The Drop, and like the other Isle of Sgail ETs, this one is actually a non-canon ET, which would allow Quinn to still be important, and make the scene in the stinger more palatable.
Lmao IO gets worse every time.
The disrupter outfit (not the fur coat, I mean the shorts and gloves) also doesn’t work anyone else have that problem?
I’ve noticed at the start of the level when 47 enters onto the prior, Diana says “Welcome back to the Isle of Sgail”. I seem to think this is set post Hitman III epilogue like The Drop? Interestingly, Tim Quinn is the opponent of McGregor (The Disruptor), who was also present in the Farwell (Mendoza), so it seems this is set way, way after the Farwell mission, indicating this is set around 47 and Diana’s Freelance assignments.
Could be a setup for a rerun or something similar to Undying Returns? I’ve noticed the ET is named “The Disruptor (2024)” for some reason so there could be something else in 2025?
Yeah but I don’t like that thought because I get why the undying survived (because it’s Sean Bean and it’s kind of a running gag), but now it seems like the worlds best assassin is not doing his job very well. Can’t 47 make sure that he really kills his targets?
This Et is very funny. Maybe just too simple, but is funny. I laughed when I heard Quinn’s guard pretend to be agent 47
I can imagine McGregor wanted to not be actually dead even in fiction.
