Sniper rifle to the head before the fight even started. I think it took all of 2 minutes including getting to the exit.
Does he evacuate after being spooked the regular way like other targets, or is there any special trigger?
Yeah, agree, it turned out to be a surprisingly enjoyable one. So far I´ve only done one arcade level (messed up and got spotted on the second) and the regular ET, but I´ll experiment with other methods over the weekend. There´s quite a bit of stuff to play with on a small space.
Which is great, but isn´t it kind of sad that an ET gets quite a bit of new dialogue from Bateson, yet for Ambrose - a full-fledged story mission - they just slapped together what they had from other missions?
Not sure I´d agree it´s some of the best stuff they´ve written, but the zen trainer is indeed funny (especially that bit where he claims himself to be 47). I´m looking forward to eavesdropping more tomorrow. McGregor is the weakest, but, I mean, he ain´t a VA/actor, so it was to be expected. The Drop guy did admittedly a better job, but most of his delivery outside of the arena is pretty ok.
On a somewhat technical-related note, I feel like the context button for the bell has a bit of a wonky placement requiring you to be a certain distance away. Should work closer as well.
Also, was it just my feeling (or crappy laptop) or are the sounds of 47´s punches in the arena a bit mis-timed?
I want to kill him second in Hokkaido

In many ways, you’re the poster child for Freelancer
The official WOA timeline is very muddy. Wouldn’t be surprised if this ET takes place before he destroys Atlantide. It is also in a H2 map after all
Something annoying I noticed when experimenting: there is a small area on the effigy stage where there is a trespassing zone and you will be caught, even if you are wearing a disguise that is otherwise legal (e.g. guard, custodian).
Yes. And as I’ve played around, I’ve been frustrated by how easily spooked he is, including this recent knowledge: the target will start evacuating after seeing a Kalmer’d body.
Also yes, noticed that myself.
The Atlantide contract is with ICA; it can’t take place after this one. It’s either just an Easter egg, someone had leftovers, or this ET is not actually canon after all. Considering the scene at the end, I’d prefer option 3.
Just because the network was taken down doesn’t mean that the product instantly ceased to exist. It’s quite possible that some was found in a warehouse somewhere so option 2 is actually the most likely.
As for the scene at the end - just another victim of the Nabazov virus :x
But Atlantide was selling there product to alot of private people who in turn were suppose to resell it at a profit.
So even with Krish and Vholes gone, there is a very high chance that there are still some people left to have fallen for there scam and try to sell off there bulk to make back at least some of there money.
The briefing team are always on fire, especially for Hitman 3.
That’s what figured, but I just wanted to see if anyone else thought that made sense. I guess we can consider that the story for now.
I just realized the cutscene where he’s revived cannot be skipped lol. He definitely wanted everyone to know he cannot die.
I take the final cutscene as a way to show the whole mission was just something he hallucinated.
Diana’s dialogue that plays if you kill Quinn cuts deep. She sounds so disappointed in 47.
Great, now I have to go kill that poor guy just so I can hear that.
An interesting take that will become my headcanon. It would have been even better if the Disruptor was a dog, but sadly he isn’t.
Okay, so I was half wrong with this. You can’t skip it at the end of level 1 of the arcade, but you can on level 2. That’s weird, I wonder if it’s intentional
I wonder when this ET is roughly set actually? Interestingly, Tim Quinn is present as the fighter after last being seen in Mendoza. With Diana also welcoming 47 back to the Isle of Sgail at the start of the mission, I’m think a few years have passed since he last visited to be fair.
According to Freelancer, it was four days ago. It’s a weekly thing by now.
