Considering how the Mercenary is pretty easy with all the emetic stuff we have, that escalation wouldn’t really be as hard as it was in H1 if it was remade in H3.
Ok theres not much to it but its cool, id love to see it back perhaps in yet another version of sapienza.

Lol. But no. I play SA/SONKO.
I’m realising that I have no reason to play the game until the 20th of February. and the first ET.
Sure there is the Maneki-Neko and the FCs.
But the new item doesn’t inspire me, and FCs can always be played later.
At least a new suit usually makes me play a Freelancer campaign with it when unlocked.
Year 5 is looking more and more like a “play 10 minutes for the ET completion, and leave the rest to accumulate before doing them all at once in July and December. Maybe”.
(Because I only have hope for new items, and nothing else gives me confidence. Due to gesture at IOI)
The strange bit is.
This is usual for January in the game. End of winter roadmap, galore, the closing of the year before the first roadmap in Feb/March.
But since it was the opening roadmap, now it feels empty and with nothing to look forward too.
I wish IOI did like Year 3, and made a general “Year 5 blogpost”.
To at least know if there is something to really look forward to this year.
The Year 3 timeline roadmap was great. Wish they did that again.

I’ve made this roadmap even more empty for myself than it already is. I’ve essentially already done the challenges - I’ve got two different saves ready to load to perform a single action to cause each challenge to pop up as complete.
Maybe I’ll overwrite them closer to the time and just redo it. Probably not though.

I think IOI will go big with the Easter roadmap to be fair with you. Don’t forget, we have the leaked Easter and Halloween decorations coming for Freelancer, so at least Freelancer will be getting some more love as part of Year 5. I’m hoping we also get some new unlocks themed around Freelancer as well like the Black Bruiser suit 
I guess we’ll find out as the year progresses.

To be fair, my relation to Year 5 isn’t universal.
I’ve finished Freelancer in December.
Being personally bored by the game is natural.
That is unwise for me to read.
Because now I will dream of a main story target campaign in Freelancer.
And be disappointed.

So can you not play the Galore ETs if you have already eliminated them in “Year 4”?
I could have sworn I did the Heartbreaker this year but I could play that one. I only played that and the Broker, then it just showed The Pharmacist on the home page (which I can’t access yet obviously).
Am I being dumb?

The only one I missed last Feb. was ‘The Forger’; I could (or did) play him yesterday.
It was the same last year; if you played them in year 3, they remained locked in galore.

Galore is not…hehehe I repeat NOT a second chance if you failed the mission because you died or left the mission without properly exiting after completing an objective.

Then, although not stated, will it be Year 5 from The Heartbreaker?
The lineup looks almost identical to Year 4, but I wonder if there will be any redistribution of The twins, The black hats, etc. that were around in Year 1?
I guess today is going to be a “fun” day for the streamers if the Drops aren’t going to be live until tomorrow, since IO have somehow put different start dates (and end dates) in the roadmap and blog post. Their chats are going to be filled with people talking about how the Drops aren’t working.

It’s the positive version apparently.

Drops seems to be active. Frote looks live with them.
(Doubt the option would be even present without)
The discrepancy of communication materials isn’t great though.
At least I hope.
I quickly connected on twitch, and don’t see Hitman in the list of active drop campaign.
It could be because I already have them.
Then again Frote is the only one with Drop on his stream title.
I hope for him, and for IOI, that it’s not just the title and that they are truly active.

Release Date anniversary. 
In December, just after my last Freelancer challenges, I recorded this video to mark the completion of the game.
Then it was because I thought Year 5 was going to stand its own.
Now since for me the game is kinda over. It’s more of a last moment. It was a good journey.
Time for 47 to rest a bit.
By the way, around the same time, I realised.
