The second half of November will see new content that was not included in the roadmap:

And to @HitmanDoctor for the challenge

PSA: For the challenge, it didn’t insta-pop for me after killing the three guards. It only popped after exiting the mission on the mission complete screen.

I didn’t unlock the suit even after I killed 30 guards… well done,IOI

Very cool to see as we wasn’t expecting this!!:wink:

Looking forward to playing those FC. I wonder if we’ll get the Winter roadmap news drop anytime with the FC being Xmas themed?

Was not expecting Plague Doctor to show up unnannounced like that. It was stealth-removed from the roadmap a while back so I assumed they went back on it, or pushed it forward for a latter roadmap or something. A surprise to be sure, but a very welcome one…

Just so people are aware, while the challenge won’t have the usual popup, it should be complete regardless. I died in a firefight with the guards after doing the challenge, and while restarting the mission I could see the Plague Doctor among the outfits you can wear.

Maybe you’ve already got the Plague Doctor. But that doesn’t take away the ‘Well done, IOI.’

Nothing compares to seeing that pop-up when you complete a challenge and the woosh sounds it does, very satisfying

On a side note, I would never say no to new contents in Hitman… But I’m suprised that there were no advertising about these contents.
The “Plague Doctor” challenge that vanished from the roadmap before reappearing magically in the game, FC that comes like that.

Don’t get me wrong: I’m pretty happy with the introduction of new contents. I’m just saying that a small note on IOI website/social media like “Expect FC and ET in November” or something like that would be a welcome addition.

Thank you for the clarification.

Idk about you, but too many contracts recently, not enough time, I think.

Also, I haven’t done the math, but I believe that this is the year where we had the greatest number of ETs to play. Elusive Targets | Hitman Wiki | Fandom

Having these location/mission specific suits as unlocks is a mixed feeling for me.

On one hand, they were a small thing that added to those missions. Also, they probably mess with challenge contracts to an extent. On the other, getting free use of them everywhere is fun. Especially for Freelancer.

Though, as this rate we’re going to get everything you can wear or pickup as an unlock since they’re seemingly not gonna make much new stuff. Unless it’s a purple reskin.

Again though, why add so much stuff without a roadmap? Why not just whip up a quick November Roadmap that includes all of this so more people will notice the ETs and that there’s new stuff added? Why not just include all of this in the Season of the Drop Roadmap?

Non-roadmap stuff has been an issue for all of Year 4, and of all issues it’s one of the easiest to avoid yet they still keep doing it.

It should already be in your suit inventory. I killed 5 guards and then went to the main menu and it was waiting for me. The challenge didn’t pop up for me either.

These suits doesn’t behave like their disguise counterpart, they don’t have the same permissions, don’t activate the same eastereggs and are treated as any other suit by the game.
The only thing I could see that could mess with challenge contracts is if the contract is modded to require that especific suit, making players think that they need to use the in-map disguise, or if these suits are glitched and treated as their own suits, like the Lucky Ducky suit used to be before it was patched.

I think they legitimately don’t care about keeping the player base informed. The focus of the year has been selling us the shitty CelebrET DLC and making money, not caring about the players or improving the game with quality patches.

Despite promises from our new Community Manager to do better, the same things keep happening over and over. Shame we can’t just get Travis and Clemens back.

I think that was IO telling us to stop complaining about no roadmap releases. Anyways not impressed with the Plague Doctor disguise it doesn’t function as it at all nor affects dialogue. Can we expect this for ALL special disguise unlocks?

It did throw me off a little bit as well when this new content dropped recently and none of us knew it was coming. Hopefully with the impending Winter roadmap, we’ll have everything included on the one roadmap that’s coming across the Winter months :crossed_fingers:t2:

Shouldn’t they already release the roadmap this week? All ET’s from old one ended, and they’ve already reactivated 2 new + new challenge + new FCs. I guess they don’t want to because of celebrity ET, but they should atleast give people heads up on social media.

I would guess this isn’t something that’s been decided by the company. Instead, I sense it comes down to somebody not being particularly attentive and often failing to meet their work deadlines.

I did consider making a roadmap image to post here like I did during the similar sudden content drop in the Season of The Disruptor, but I’m so tired of IOI’s behaviour here that…no. No, I don’t think I will this time.

One time is unhelpful. Twice is an insult. Three times and it’s active contempt for your userbase.

On a lighter note, Contract #1000 was a blast!
