Planning the next roadmap: 2026

I’ve made a bunch of ideas for challenges and Twitch Drops in the past that I think would be cool to be added :grin:

This one I just want because wow what if we got something which was thematically appropriate as a Twitch-drop, but not just a purple gun or something

And then here’s a list of some challenge ideas I made almost 2 years ago. These ones are good I think because they add new challenges for other gamemodes, not just the main missions, which i feel like is needed to make the whole WoA feel more cohesive. And also because they add inaccessible and Freelancer-exclusive items, which I think people really want. I think that devs have maybe said something before about not wanting to release these old unlocks, but thats just stupid and I hate it:

There’s so many good challenges and unlocks in that thread that are now buried under obscurity, I hope some old ones get relooked at or reposted here or something

Here are two things that aren’t unlocks but instead very much wanted (from me at least, and I’m pretty sure from a lot of people) QoL changes. I don’t know if this is keeping in topic with the thread, but whatever, I want to get these out too.

  1. Make side objectives in Whittleton Creek optional after your first playthrough, like in Chongqing and Colorado. Also do this for Dartmoor, to be honest I thought this was already the case for Dartmoor but I guess not? Basically, anything that isn’t about killing someone should be optional after one playthrough
  2. Change Briefcase in Freelancer: Hypothetical "Briefcase Room"

Basically, just let us choose something other than our default briefcase to bring in in freelancer, like is done with suits
