Planning the next roadmap: 2026

If you want a visual example btw, I made a mod that replicates it (The jacket did need editing btw)!

I’d hope for the TAC-4 S/A and the Jungle variant to be updated to have more precise aiming like the Silverballer.

Maybe an unlock for an antique sedative syringe? Lethal and emetic syringes have at minimum 3-5 available versions for use in gear/smuggled slots while sedative syringe is limited to one.

Starting from 2023, IO seems to no longer be interested in Elusive Target Arcade. As of 2026, there have been no new regular Elusive Target Arcade contracts or new challenge rewards, and perhaps updates to Elusive Target Arcade can be restored

I hope eventually each arcade will have its own unlock reward. It would give even more incentive to beat each arcade.

The Arcade was a Year 2 thing, so they called it a day on it. Until they started using it again for the CelebrET DLC.

Even though The Fixer never made it into an Arcade contract. And The Deceivers never got an Arcade contract that didn’t have the Restricted Loadout complication on it.

And some never had a version released that didn’t restrict their ways of being killed.

Not true. The only non-optional complications on standard ETs in the Arcade are Additional Enforcers and Restricted Loadout. Additional Enforcers doesn’t restrict how you can kill them, Restricted Loadout does, but they all have a variant without RL except The Deceivers.

Unless you’re talking restricted by not being able to get five stars with any kill method. In which case, meh. Nowhere near as big a problem as The Deceivers and The Fixer are in.

It is what I’m talking about and it’s nearly as big an issue. You can’t play them to 5 star perfection without using some specific method or avoiding some specific method.

You can still get 5 stars with that specific method then experiment different things on them without caring about the score though :x

Do you know me at all? :winking_face_with_tongue:

If you can’t play a mission without always finishing it with 5 stars I dread to think of how you managed to unlock challenges like The Showstopper x_x

I did them those times solely to unlock the challenges. When I play for fun, it is always to perfection. I can’t stand doing ETs, even in Arcade, without getting perfect score every time, which means elimination method requirements in Arcade are frustrating.

Being able to get 5 stars with any method is definitely a reasonable request. They could always make new unlocks that require you to do optional objectives on x amount of Arcade missions as an incentive to play with restrictions.

A New map dlc and couple of brand new elusive targets

To be honest we don’t know what’s cooking in IOI’s kitchen.
Maybe they work on another Hitman game under their “fantasy project” or “untitled project” headers.
Same, they could be shadowworking on a new map.
Studio’s not obliged to publish or announce all their day-to-day work schedule.
So nothing is impossible. This guy might just be super-predictive

How about freelancer?

I’m mostly like you, but find myself more lenient in that mode.

Same with Freelancer. When I start a new campaign, if there are any maps with any objectives that are more trouble than they’re worth, I restart and keep picking until I get one that has no such issue. And if the Prestige Objectives conflict with any of them, I don’t pick a PO.
