The objectives were great (maybe a little on the complex side), mostly they were just sandwiched between two holidays and got lost in the shuffle. By the time some of us remembered this competition was a thing, we didn’t really have time to fully immerse ourselves. I plan on going back and actually dreading some holiday cheer on Sgàil in a few days (when I should have a little more time and figure out where Amos Dexter is supposed to be). In the meantime, however, I have a kind of crazy idea for a contract but I’m going to need some time to make sure it’s as viable as I hope it is. It should be up sometime tomorrow.
Apologies if I didn’t play this latest one, it’s been a bit of a lazy winter break so far. I do plan to get to trying out the previous and this ET contract this weekend to get caught up though!

Good afternoon, agents.
Your mission comes from the local shaman of a small fishing village in Colombia. It appears he has some sort of mystical control of many of the inhabitants of the village and it’s starting to cause him some headache. Specifically, the Delgado Cartel is encroaching in the area and some of his more devout followers are agitating for some “divine intervention”. This shaman claims to be just a “simple man” and wants to hold on to the life he currently has. Apparently, there is a delicate balance of power between himself and representatives of the cartel and he worries the agitators will throw everything into chaos. He’s also been thinking of downsizing for many months now so this could be just the opportunity he’s been looking for.
I’ll leave you to prepare. The brewing conflict boils over on January 10th at noon EST.
OBJECTIVES
- Eliminate Esperance Cano Alvarez
- Eliminate Lea Lerma Rocha
- Eliminate Polo Leal Aguirre
- “The Culling” (optional, can NOT be achieved simultaneously with “The Vanishing”)
Your followers need to know Taita isn’t to be crossed and his will is absolute. Disguise as The Shaman and cull the problem elements of his cult. Send a message to the rest of his followers in the process. Earn +7,500 for each non-target cultist you have in your following when you eliminate a target.
- “The Vanishing” (optional, can NOT be achieved simultaneously with “The Culling”)
Your followers believe Taita is the mortal instrument of God on earth. Strike the fear of that God into them by punishing those who presume to influence Taita. Disguise as The Shaman and covertly remove those who deign to speak to God. Eliminate ALL targets WITHOUT attracting ANY other cultist into your following to create the illusion of divine will and earn +50,000. If ANY non-target follows Taita WHILE he performs “God’s” work, this objective is VOID.
(Honestly, I’m not exactly sure how this will go, especially under these rules. I’ve attempted to scale the bonus rewards based on how difficult it seems like it will be to pull off the optional objectives should you go down one of those routes. I can adjust the rewards if necessary if a consensus is reached. Also, while it may seem like 50,000 might be a bit ridiculous, it’s trying to take into account that you may not be able to see yourself pick up a non-target follower and I’ve counted at least 6-8 non-target followers lurking around so gathering them all will give you a comparable reward.)

Apologies @Viv that I missed the last one. In between Christmas and having a brain like a sieve I just didn’t get to it. The briefing looked great even if the side objectives were a tiny bit confusing. I’m still going to give it a go.
I will aim to get to this one today so that I don’t forget!
PS Recreation using @djsojus JSON. This is a great way to do it for anyone creating on PC in future. Means I can recreate without seeing any of the targets.

Oops, I forgot to post the target locations and I’m still not sure what JSON is or how it works (or if that’s even something I can do on Xbox) but thanks to the recreators. Here’s hoping this is as interesting as it seemed in my head!
I have no idea which NPC:s will start following you so I’m probably gonna mess that up, I’ll try it later when I get back home.
I followed the rules
162,946+50,000+=212,946
I find the Culling and Vanishing objectives a bit confusing. Do you have to choose one of them, or am I just not understanding something? One of them states that you have to have non-target cultists in your following when you kill a target, and the other one states that nobody should follow you when killing a target. I’m going to add up both of these objectives for now, but do tell me if they’re invalid or not. Besides that, I liked it and it didn’t end up with a chaotic end.
I loved every minute of that, particularly your rather brazen assaults on some people in the beginning and towards the end! Unfortunately, I am going to have to deduct your 5x7,500… The optional objectives are mutually exclusive; it’s not possible to do one while doing the other. For the Culling you need to have followers WHILE the eliminations happen and for the Vanishing the idea is to make it seem like God struck them down for questioning Taita so you want to have nobody in your following when committing the dark deeds. I’ll try to edit the wording of the Vanishing in particular because you did acquire followers but you did it after you took out the targets (which I was getting worried about) so nobody actually saw YOU do them. My bad (again), I hoped I was clear enough, sorry…
I followed the rules! I remember in my last elusive target in Santa Fortuna (The Voodoo Priestesses) that I thought you needed the shaman disguise to get the gold idol, so I remembered some (not all) of the followers like the orange cap guy in the small workshop and the gardener. However, I think I got lucky, since I had no followers after escaping. You learn a lot after trying to feed all three main targets to the Hippo.
Here’s the route I took:
First, I thought out my thought process on approaching this. Going into this, I only knew the mechanic lady’s name, and the other two were made up on the way.
Start at the shaman starting location. Pacify both Gregory (green shirt guy who’s awake) and the shaman (the three people are basically blind). Pacify Zunilda (the pharmacist lady) since I think she’s a follower. I saw an opportunity to push the mechanic’s wife over the ledge next to the fire barrel so I did that. Ran through the ruins and past the hostel to avoid the bulk of the followers, and was now on the rooftops. Lured the male target with a simple wrench throw, and pricked him in the back with a syringe since those followers who demand divine intervention are poisoned. Ran past the bar and around the village until making it to the east bridge (since going through would definitely get a follower or two) and after a lot of map checking, waited for Aguirre to turn around and prick her in the back. Used the crowbar and opened the door and took the motorboat exit!
186,998 + 50,000 = 236,998
I don’t know why but this got me! Anyway, great run; going to be tough to beat (though this might be a high scoring challenge all around).
Caught up on some of the ET contracts I missed… 2/4 of them didn’t have a PS4 recreation though, so that’s a bit too bad.
This one was neat, especially when trying to get the Axe to one of the targets in a pretty public area.
This one was too big for puny chicken brain. Those damn NPCs have a big follow range.
edit: I love figuring out the solution after already playing it there was a staircase to the construction site right next to where I left the soldier! Could have bypassed those NPCs so easily!..
Honestly, I thought you had enough time at the end too! Anyway, that’s why the rewards are on the high side; your followers might find you before you find them… Not to mention, each target is strategically located near at least one other follower. Somewhat easier to deal with with instinct and a mini map but a bit of a douche move on my part in the context of our little game here
Yeah not a great score. Got spotted by a guard from another building when I KO’d one of the followers. Wasn’t going to get that bonus anyway because I had no idea who would start following you.
About 5 hours left if anyone wanted to take a last minute shot at beating @Viv.
(@Crewdy @ColdDayInHell @Adil15101 @ZeroGravitas @linux_penguin)
(I was going to do this last night, and give a bit more warning, but I forgot… )
Ah sorry, had been away from the game for some time. Got back to it a few days back and your reminder came at a very unfortunate time. Sorry! Will check out the next one.
That’s fine, I’ve been off and on myself (although my anticipation for the beginning of Year 2 is building). Like I said, I had hoped to give a bit more warning but it is what is.
Anyway, congrats Agent @Viv! If you follow the money, you’ll find a recent deposit of $236,998 in your account.
I do request assistance! If you guys could vote for your top five locations you want a contract in, I’ll get straight on it! (Santa Fortuna and Isle of Sgail is not there because I already did those two in an ET)
