Some might call it white guilt, I see it as acknowledging what my idiotic people did to this continent, but I have to support option 1, with 3 as the runner up.

I fear number 3, when a small image next to your posts, will be too nuanced to see what it is. There’ll be a lot of squinting going on

Possibly but then again there have been less detailed works that have been particularly fussy with the profile picture’s requirements. I think last year I did one of Lawrence’s works with similar complexity without issue, I will switch over and see how it looks.

I would look somewhat indistinct I agree but it would look clearer when someone clicks on my profile and it isn’t even the worst case of compression.
Ironically @Rimland voted for it and Rimland once had an icon so compressed we all thought his profile pic was a badger until he changed it.

I like 4 the most in its style and stuff but went for 1 because I think it is objectively the better one that also works the best as a profile picture.

Well democracy has won its course and the Patriotic Indian has won. Funnily enough Scholder originally painted his “Indians” for the bicentennial as a part of an artist’s program to create works for the momentous occasion.
