Questions about playing HITMAN 3 on PC in 2025

Hello Hitman Community,

I am considering switching to PC for HITMAN 3 and would appreciate insights from experienced players about the game’s performance. I have several questions I hope community members can help me with: Do you play with vertical sync (V-Sync) enabled? Have you encountered any micro-stutters during gameplay? How stable is the experience with HITMAN 3 on PC, particularly for those running high-end graphics cards? If you notice some variability in your frame rate, does the game support variable refresh rate (VRR) for monitors that are compatible with this technology? Even when maintaining a high frame rate, do you experience any occasional stuttering or momentary performance hitches?

Additionally, I am curious about some recent technological developments: With the release of DLSS 4, have the issues of DLSS-induced ghosting been resolved in HITMAN 3 on PC? Do you play with ray tracing enabled? If so, how is the performance of ray tracing in HITMAN 3 on PC? When using ray tracing, do you employ DLSS 4? If you do, what has been your experience with this combination?

Many thanks,
Ali

A few things I can answer (don’t know anything about VRR)

I play with V-Sync enabled.
Game is very stable on high-end and low-end systems.
No microstutters.

DLSS 4 is not supported yet iirc.
Game supports raytracing for shadows and reflections. I play with shadows on my 4060, my friend with 5080 plays with both. Enabling reflection raytracing cuts FPS in half, but for his PC that’s still 200+ FPS.
Whatever DLSS game has definitely helps framerate and if you use “quality” DLSS option it even looks pretty good.
