QuickEdit - a mod editor for Hitman 2 and 3

I only had this idea because newMod.html is in app.asar and maybe somehow it got changed or even maybe corrupted.

There’s nothing wrong with newMod.html. You’re not supposed to drag buttons out of the app and put them on your desktop. The issue here appears to be with either the size of the storage file or your previous mod. Either way, there’s unfortunately not much I can do because of how large the file is. If all else fails you can delete mods.json to clear QE.

I realized that I can’t choose available entrances when I forced a loadout. The available entrances option just disappeard when I select forced loadout. And when I start a mission with a forced loadout I start at the default entrance. Is this intentional or am I missing something? Can I select both options at the same time? The mission is Illusion of Grandeur if that helps.

You have to give Quickedit the ID or Name of the forced Entrance you want to use.

I know. But I can’t fill the ID because the Restrict available entrances option disappears when I select Force a loadout option. I just want to select them both.

The game removes the planning screen entirely when a forced loadout is set (meaning you can’t select an entrance), so it starts you at the default entrance.

Alright cool, it sounds dumb but I want you to remove the robes and masks from all people in Isle of Sgail and an NPC editor. It’s like contract but if you click on them a menu shows up saying “kill npc, delete npc, perform animations (sit, lean, stand)”. Along with a crowd remover so I don’t have to hear their annoying noises while performing a mission.

All three of those are impossible.

What @Atampy26 said plus it’s everything but simple. This isen’t Mario Maker or Paint the Town Red.

On second Thought, The First One would technically be possible, but would require to edit every single Model in a diffrent programm and that’s of course still not a gurantee to work and depends on the fact, if theres actually Face underneath the Masks, not even talking about Robes.

(Since, I’ve already tagged you Atampy I could use the opportunity to ask, if theres already a list of Mission Storys for Hitman 3 to allow better Naming of Mods. Thx in Advance.)

Yes I used the ANSEL and went to a guards face and yes he does have eyebrows and that stuff.

Alright, so can you make it or something or how long approx? Or you can give me a tutorial on how to remove them so I can do them individually myself. I know the npc menu is possible but maybe now delete.

As I said above,

Number 3 is actually the most plausible as crowd maps can be zeroed out. 1 may be possible with RPKG and Blender. 2 is incredibly complex and the tools for it are very far away. Right now we can’t even remove existing behaviours without going through JSON using ResourceTool.

Hmm, I can probably do 1 but can you at least try and do 2?
