Rumors about a new Hitman game - let's wait together!

I say they make a full-length animated movie, so he can still be the star.

Well, IOI have confirmed 47 will be returning in the future, so it’s just the waiting game unfortunately. In regards to the timeline, it will likely pick up around two years following Freelancer. Also, remember 47 doesn’t have the numbers on his barcode now, so technically his age isn’t revealed anymore and it’s hidden, so he’s rather timeless.

Tbh, only two games in the series actually showed the numbers under the barcode

Maybe three but the texture quallity was so shite in Contracts that you can’t quite see if there are numbers or not under those bars :unamused:

I’m a big fan of David.

But he has always been to unknown to sell tickets. A “few” hardcore Hitman fans wouldn’t make a difference.

But I do not understand how he didn’t get a cameo or anything like that. A small gesture. I am sure David would do it for a penny for the Hollywood spotlight. But that did not happen…

Everytime Hollywood tries to make an adaptation of a videogame they never learn from the source material and it ends up being a flop, maybe Hitman is one of those franchises better left alone but we’ll see if they ever touch upon Hitman again, the first Hitman movie was actually okay as for Agent 47 movie, it was trash

That would actually be sick, if they gst the right people to make it

Im hoping ae see a new change like a soft reboot from ABSOLUTION to Hitman (2016), but obviously continuing the story

Hitman (2016) was the sort of a soft reboot for the franchise, whilst keeping the continuity of Absolution, so I don’t think the story should go backwards like some other franchises do with prequels etc, so in my opinion, I think the story should continue set years in front after the Hitman III epilogue and Freelancer, which is the likely scenario IOI will take in my opinion. It would be rather strange for a new game, which is inevitably going to arrive years down the line, to go backwards when all the Hitman games have continued the story?

I think it’s an interesting concept to see how 47 and Diana will eventually build back following the events of Freelancer, unless they are already established again by the time the next game comes around. We’d probably see a time jump as their Freelance work is just some minor work for both 47 and Diana until some big hits resurface again.
