I say they make a full-length animated movie, so he can still be the star.
Well, IOI have confirmed 47 will be returning in the future, so itâs just the waiting game unfortunately. In regards to the timeline, it will likely pick up around two years following Freelancer. Also, remember 47 doesnât have the numbers on his barcode now, so technically his age isnât revealed anymore and itâs hidden, so heâs rather timeless.
Tbh, only two games in the series actually showed the numbers under the barcode ![]()
Maybe three but the texture quallity was so shite in Contracts that you canât quite see if there are numbers or not under those bars ![]()
Iâm a big fan of David.
But he has always been to unknown to sell tickets. A âfewâ hardcore Hitman fans wouldnât make a difference.
But I do not understand how he didnât get a cameo or anything like that. A small gesture. I am sure David would do it for a penny for the Hollywood spotlight. But that did not happenâŚ
Everytime Hollywood tries to make an adaptation of a videogame they never learn from the source material and it ends up being a flop, maybe Hitman is one of those franchises better left alone but weâll see if they ever touch upon Hitman again, the first Hitman movie was actually okay as for Agent 47 movie, it was trash
That would actually be sick, if they gst the right people to make it
Im hoping ae see a new change like a soft reboot from ABSOLUTION to Hitman (2016), but obviously continuing the story
Hitman (2016) was the sort of a soft reboot for the franchise, whilst keeping the continuity of Absolution, so I donât think the story should go backwards like some other franchises do with prequels etc, so in my opinion, I think the story should continue set years in front after the Hitman III epilogue and Freelancer, which is the likely scenario IOI will take in my opinion. It would be rather strange for a new game, which is inevitably going to arrive years down the line, to go backwards when all the Hitman games have continued the story?
I think itâs an interesting concept to see how 47 and Diana will eventually build back following the events of Freelancer, unless they are already established again by the time the next game comes around. Weâd probably see a time jump as their Freelance work is just some minor work for both 47 and Diana until some big hits resurface again.
Iâd actually say this would be a REALLY good idea! Remember AbsolutionâŚ? Remember VictoriaâŚ? That connection would be awesome to have, actually! Even if potentially you could just have different viewsâŚ? Potentially a more intertwined story/contracts could be createdâŚ?

I was thinking cell shadingâŚ
And i was wondering since someone mentioned technology since it will take several years for IOI to even start, weâll be in the playstation 6 era what it would be likeâŚ
I think most people try to forgot about her to be honest. Whether itâs Victoria, Knight or Stone, IOI have tried teasing the joint partnership thing with 47 in the past and it always comes back around to 47 works better alone.
I have yet to watch this, but itâs a new video featuring David Bateson. It feels random to be doing this much promotion for Hitman 3, a 4 year old game, suddenly. When H3 came out there was hardly any advertisement for it right? This is on top of the other collaborations theyâve done recently. Maybe itâs to slowly generate hype for a new release? Or to gauge the waters and see if people are still as into Hitman?
Itâs a funny video. God I would love if youâre correct and Io has a surprise H4 for us. Surely itâs happening, right?
I actually wonder how big of a studio IO is now. Would it be realistic for them to work on two games simultaneously? In that caseâŚHitman should be possible in itâs early stages.
Yes, because theyâre working on 007 and Project Dragon currently. And the scraps team is on Hitman.
They have a brick and mortar in like 4 or 5 places now? Copenhagen, Malmo, Barcelona, and Istanbul? Surely there are a few spare people to give us 6 more maps.
just let me have my dreams
I want to be on the scraps team!
I wait nothing. If it wasnât these annoying notifications from that forum I wouldnât have visited this topic ![]()
