Sigh. Another disappointment. No fixes to long-time issues like the wrong boats launching from the safehouse dock despite two claims of such in the past; no fixes to 47’s suits clipping but fixes to an NPC character in Paris no one cares about clipping, no changes in ET lineup worth noting, only one decent new item to unlock, no safehouse decorations, and again we get the Undying Returns instead of the regular Undying.

So we keep on waiting, waiting, waiting on the game to change…

So about the new items:

  • The suit is alright, kinda annoyed it’s yet another goofy costume (like at least lean into it and give the beak some detail right now it seems a bit low effort?);
  • The pistol is just another variation, we have a pink baller now;
  • The shoe is …dubious, it’s probably another melee (I suppose it might be lethal);
  • The coin looks like a 3d printed asset, which ironically might work? I’d have to see it in-game.

47 in a Duck Gimp mask wasn’t on my bingo card, nor was the plastic purple choking hazard twitch drop. All and all the highlight is the Baller Reskin, and Female Featured Contracts Batch.

At this point I don’t know why they are bothering with continuing support for Hitman.

These unlocks are awful and add nothing to the game. The pistol looks nice but I will never use it, it’s just a reskinned Silverballer. The inventory of this game is just a mess at this point.

They would be better off just releasing batches of Featured Contracts weekly for the rest of the year. It’s the only thing new to play at this point.

I am kind of surprised we don’t see the two curator batches on the roadmap that finished taking submissions by now. Maybe they don’t want to promise it in case a curator ends up missing a deadline for sending the picks?

I just hope for the remaining roadmaps the Hitman Support team take unlock ideas from the already extensive list of items the community wants instead of stuff like the Egg Hunt Suit.

It just feels like a disconnect between the community and IOI. I’m all for the wacky and whimsical suits, but I’m also self aware to the fact the game is now oversaturated with that type of thing now.
