So I’ve made another video on Hitman! This is me going through and completing the Rotten Fruit challenge with my ā€œdev commentaryā€, the third challenge idea I’ve had that’s been added to the game! I wish they’d add the Globe-Trotting Assassin challenge pack I came up with that has the Aluminum Travel Briefcase as an unlock, those are the challenge ideas I’m most proud of.

I also give my 2 cents on the state of the game right now, in case you want to know my opinion.

I really hope combatglue adds some of the more ambitious challenges, obviously because mine are the best (i keed i keed) but also there’s some really cool gameplay and unlock ideas in the stuff suggested whereas rn we’ve sort of been skimming the stuff IO are willing to give us that aint gonna rock the boat too much. like the durian is already in the game and stuff like the wine bottle aint gonna break any hearts by being OP but i kinda wanna see them make new models for these things and new mechanics

but im super glad your challenges are getting added because theyre fun challenges and they make use of semi-neglected maps which is great. youre singlehandedly made Ambrose one of the more unlock-heavy maps in the trilogy and i love that map unironically so it’s always a great revisit

Spoiler Alert.

I don’t know who has or hasn’t begun playing the Connor McGregor DLC

I thought the easiest after climbing the pole getting security disquise / erase cameras.

Walking to the ring area, shooting the bell. Place a pistol where mcgregor’s opponent tells his guard to remove, then hit him with hammer dump in crate and become the opponent.

Easy SA once in the ring.

I like giving isle of sgail some new content.

Are the reactivated Twitch drops not working? I’ve already got the suit and duck but have been watching a stream on a different account to the one I used to get them originally, but the timer on them doesn’t seem to be starting. Just the briefcase.

Not a big deal since I have them, just an observation.

Quick review on everything released/announced today.

As usual, the new ET is great, at first I was dissapointed that they chose Sgail (the only H2 map that already has 2 ETs), but the way they incorporated the target into the map was really cool in my opinion, let’s hope the unused maps get some love in the future. The kills, even though easy and, in my opinion, very obvious, still feel great to pull off, although I wish there was more depth to the fight to make it more exiting. Still, I appretiate they actually let you fight the target.

Regarding the election of McGregor as the ET, I don’t really care, It wouldn’t be the first time a company associates with an ass, It won’t be the last. I only care about the mission being good and they certainly delivered on that front. However, this makes me think that if they happily made a deal with someone like McGregor, why is The Wildcard not coming back? It’s already obvious that the celeb controversies aren’t really and issue. Maybe it has something to do with Gary Cole? He also appears on that mission after all. Maybe it’s the fact that the celebs are playing themselves and not a character? or maybe some pesky rights thing regarding Square Enix, who still owned IO at the time and I assume had a lot to do with both deals.

Once again they botched the arcade contract by adding a fucking mandatory complication. At least is only two levels this time but still, that fact is single handely making me hesitant on buying the DLC. That was also the reason why I didn’t bought the Undying DLC, It’s a horrible decision.

The roadmap is exactly the same as I predicted some weeks ago. It’s nice I guess, but the unlocks for the challenges are very dissapointing. What do we need a bottle and a horn for? The game is already filled with enough pointless items.

The absolute worst part of the season was the patch notes, what a joke.

Overall, my feelings are the same as for the previous seasons, the new content is great (excluding the god damned mandatory complications), but the rest is not too exiting. I’ll still play it when it is released though.

So, are the gym and the yard decoration the only additions to the safehouse from this?

I got to say, I actually like the new gym decorations, it’s more than just a thing or two here and there, you can really transform the whole room. What I don’t like is that none of the new decorations are interactive.

The money pit is silly-looking, but I love that they made it so you can light the money on fire. Once it’s blackened and keeps burning, it’s just a really big fire pit, and I like that.

I’m actually happy we get the wine bottle. Now I’m hoping we’ll get the other two as well. I won’t use it in missions, but I’ll take it to numerous maps as a prop for nice screenshots.

HMF: Hey, IO, could we please have the remaining guns from this beautiful line-up as unlocks in the upcoming roadmap?

And for a bottle of Pinot Noir, wich according to the fella serving the wine if Mendoza is signal of a civilization in decline.

Coming to think of it, he was on point with that.

Why? Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauvignon, it’s all the same: tastes like rotten grapes with rubbing alcohol poured on them.

In other comments, the boat animations at the dock in Freelancer have not been fixed. Wrong boat still leaves in the cutscene when the other has been picked. I’m seriously starting to get pissed with these immersion-breaking bugs that have no resolution point in sight.

I like rubbing alcohol with frutal flavor.

This is one of your worst takes ever.

Just because you don’t understand or enjoy something doesn’t mean you get to make moronic blanket statements as if you’re right.

I’ve literally tried them all, and I stand by my statement. It’s not about understanding or enjoying; it’s about actually having the experience to make the statement with absolute certainty.

Respectfully, you haven’t tried shit.

You can stand by your opinion, but your opinion is not absolute certainty.

That’s all I’m saying on this, before derailing further.

Except this: Ironically, you :wine_glass: a lot.
