I wonder why the roadmap page was removed from IOI’s website? ![]()
It’s great with The Sangfroid Suit to finally get another suit that uses the solid black leather gloves (best glove type in the game). I think the last suit to use them was the Sniper Challenge suit in October 2023
With the Pretzel and Star Apple being unlocks this week, I was looking through the inventory and seeing how many useless items are in this game now. It’s gotten out of control.
I’m really hoping for a favourites tab where we can just mark the items we use the most so we’re not scrolling through pages of crap to find what we need.
Just take the Pistols category for example; I think out of all them I would only ever use Custom 5mm (if I need to get through Frisks), Silverballer (for accurate shots), Krugermeier (for quiet shots), Kalmer, and a Seiker. That’s it! 5 Pistols.
Do that across every category and you’re left with a great selection of tools which don’t take up a lot of space.
I only now noticed my contract got featured.
Managed to get Level 2 of the Arcade completed tonight! ![]()
I wasn’t anticipating Silent Assassin because I thought I was going to mess it up, but all went to plan thankfully! ![]()
New way to unlock the TikTok drop duck………..
It uh still needs a social media website I’m guessing most people here won’t use
Link leads to a deleted post I guess.
They changed their mind maybe?
No longer tiktok exclusive then? What was it, Instagram?
Yeah it was for instagram post a video with a hashtag and they’d dm some of them codes for the duck
That sounds needlessly confusing. Why not just make it a twich drop?
Probably just IOI (Samir?) trying to expand their target audience.
Hopefully that’s the end game!
They re uploaded it
So we need to play the Bruce Lee mission, record it, upload that to Instagram, and tag IOI in the post… I’m not doing that.
I don’t know how to record what I’m playing and don’t care to learn.
I don’t use Instagram, and don’t care to, and certainly don’t know how to upload video and tag anyone, and don’t care to.
No thank you, IOI.
It’s just a giant FU to those of us who already bought the deluxe release of the game and most extra content. We shouldn’t need outside platforms to have a complete set of everything.
I’m not worried about costs, really, and I’m not concerned that it’s some crucial game-breaking tool that I won’t be able to live without - I’m just tired of having to add more and more apps and sites and technologies that I’ll never use again.
I don’t want to create an account along with all of the extra emails and other things that come with it, just to post one video to a website and then never log in again. I don’t want to install a bunch of extra programs just so I can record myself playing a game, which I’ll never do again unless there’s some other unlock associated. I have no interest in streaming my game play on Twitch or anywhere else. I’m glad that the duck itself isn’t anything particularly special, but I disagree with the hoops that we’re required to jump through to get it.
I know it’s to boost engagement and encourage people to publish Hitman videos, and I know it sounds very “get off my lawn”-ish, but I don’t care. The sole reason I ever watch Twitch streams has been to get unlocks off that platform. I never even log into that platform otherwise. Will we need to all get Snapchat accounts next? X accounts? Whatsapp accounts? None of these have anything to do with the game other than IOI wanting more exposure for free.
Apologies for the rant.
Honestly I wouldn’t really worry about any of these platforms unless you’re already using them and really want the duck right now - that duck is probably going to end up as a twitch reward at some point (as the Dragon Duck already is, despite twitch not having anything to do with Bruce Lee).
Kinda glad its not.
If it was something new and they miss giving someone a code, that would be more annoying to not get the item because of something outside of your control.
The website has experienced some issues over the last couple of days and should be back to normal soon.
It’s currently been about 72 hours now, and counting, since the website went down. This has legitimately affected my video production because I can’t record the patch notes page for a video on the patch.
I’m also a little startled that the website has been down for so long? There’s certainly been attempts to revive it, but either page links die or I get 505 errors. I just find the whole thing a bit unprofessional that the site has been down for as long as it has been, especially so close to when the patch released.
At least the roadmap is viewable from the game, so that’s something.
