I’m gonna say that this roadmap is a disappointing one, other than the new ET and that rather sweet-looking red suit (no driving gloves; applause), and the slight surprise of the Pharmacist and Warlord again, but glad to see some variation of the ET schedule.
The problem here is that it’s the Pharmacist and the Warlord; two of the most annoying ET’s in 2016. Never mind the fact I stopped doing them because they bring me no joy any more and are just filler, but they play terribly on top of that.
The roadmap is a bit…stale. Actually, the roadmap cycle has been stale for a while now, but this roadmap is a good example of it. Two challenges and unlocks, a gaggle of re-run ET’s as filler, and a Celebrity Elusive that runs for 2 months, with a DLC to promote it and an ETA contract being free because that’s all there is to do that’s new!
I dunno, I’m rather excited about the Pharmacist, since last year I found a few new options available that I had never noticed before since she’s been run on infrequently, so I’m gonna try something new. As for the Warlord, I’m not gonna do any variation on my usual, but it’s challenging enough that, as infrequently as it’s been run and how limited it is in Arcade, I welcome it. Wish they’d run a few more 2016 ETs we haven’t seen in a while.
I agree that the Warlord is pretty annoying (probably the most annoying ET ever next to the Fixer) but the Pharmacist is pretty easy, you can blow up a car in her face in less than a minute or go for the chandelier in Dalia’s office if you want a more reliable, if slower, method. Never had any trouble with her :x
Interestingly, these two ET’s are the first seen in The Baneful and The Authoritarians.
I do think the Ex-dictator is worse, just because of the moving trespassing zones and very few intercept spots.
Very sorry for your experience, there has been attempts and we are in close discussions with our providers.
This link is currently working for me, but dont know if its because my browser is cached.
We are aware of it and working to fix it as soon as possible.
The link works, thanks!
As someone who likes most of the purple streak items, I also find the crowbar a nice unlock, but overall I agree with you, this roadmap has been kinda meh.
Honestly don’t understand why they didn’t give us Tactical Gear and Scarecrow suits for this roadmap, as they would fit the whole autumn/Halloween vibe perfectly. I even made 2 simple to incorporate challenges related to these suits. Hopefully the next roadmap will be better.
Because IOI haven’t incorporated any feedback we gave about what we actually want.
Still waiting on Console exclusive suits, they still give suits with driving gloves, and bugs and QoL improvements rarely get resolved and put into live builds.
But hey atleast 007 has a litney of editions with exclusive unlocks tied to them and they persist on shoving always online live service elements down our throats despite community disapproval and pushback.
Seriously? They’ve confirmed using the same annoying always online garbage for the Bond game? I’ll pass. After all these years, Hitman doesn’t even retry on its own instead of interrupting you mid-mission. It’s ridiculous and unnecessary.
In all honesty, at this point I think that “always online” is just a thing that is never going away. It doesn’t matter how much the community complains or boycotts, or anything else… just get used to it.
What do you mean by that? You can retry whenever you want at any point in the mission (unless it”s an ET). What would even be the trigger of an auto retry? And what if a player doesn’t want to retry and wants to continue the mission instead? I’t’s way better if that kind of thing is left for the player to decide.
I actually prefer the game not attempting to auto-retry, to be honest. The game doesn’t know why it can’t connect… could be a server issue, could be my internet, could be something else. I like having the control over when it tries to reconnect and when it doesn’t.
I would prefer that goddamned pop-up wouldn’t, you know, pop up right as I’m pushing a button to trigger an action, and not aware the pop-up was going to suddenly be there I get catastrophically close to exiting to the menu when I don’t mean to. Fuck that thing. Just connect and get on with it, damned thing.
Well, it’s not like the game can anticipate internet or server outages…
It could not pop up with an option to exit that you accidentally trigger while tapping a button a tenth of a second after it pops up. Then it wouldn’t matter if it anticipates it or not.
Is this actually true? Or does it retry on its own a few times, and complain only if the retries fail?
No auto retry that I’m aware of. When it pops up, it usually reconnects on the first try unless my internet is actually down.
Discovered it through CassidyCope.
(because I don’t really look into this particular loadout select)
The Kali Sticks are selectable as a “concealed weapon” in place of a pistol in the loadout. (like the axes).
It makes them start directly on your back.
And can be brought in even in undercover starting locations.
I thought they could only be smuggled in large smuggle points, or through a briefcase.
Both were cumbersome negatives.
But now…
I just love this item. ![]()
The Pharmacist
if you equip the Durian, that is all you need. From the red carpet starting location, head right the target spawns with her 2 personal guards and be running to her once you spawn. bump into her and get behind her and her guards. Drop the durain. If you do it right, all 3 get sick.
Then head back to starting location, go in the main entrance, keep right, then go right to the 2 bathrooms. Everytime I have done it, the target goes into the first bathroom, but it’s possible she could head to the second bathroom.
Drown for a easy accident kill, easy SASO. be mindful if the target goes into the second bathroom, the one girl could pop in, she’s talking in the hallway with that other girl. but if the target hits the first bathroom, you have no worries. Also no matter which bathroom leave once you drown. one of the guards comes back and can open the door.
