Season of the Herbalist - Roadmap Fall 2026

Do you have any single facts to back that up?

Yeah I’m in complete Co-op will come when/if it comes. No expectations till they show anything more frankly.

But I do think the stuff that seems to be on the table for year 7 is very exciting!

Well look at it like this: If Co-Op doesn’t come in Year 7, then that’s just one more thing to look forward to in Year 8!

I’ve unlocked the new duck today after playing the mission yesterday. Was quicker than previous CelebrET, where I needed to wait few days before obtaining the associated duck.

Need to play further this mission before making my mind about this season. But I feel very happy about the new additions (like permanent special assignments for CelebrET).

Can someone help me understand the twitch drops I’ve logged my account to my ioi account and have just watched an hour of the official hitman livestream

it says online to wait for it to go into the drops and rewards section and claim it but it’s not doing so

There have been some bugs with Twitch lately where the progress for the drop shows 100% but there’s no way to actually claim the item. Some people have said that reloading a few times helps. Others (me, for one) suggest using the mobile app to claim the drop.

Once you watch long enough it should allow you to “claim” the drop by clicking on it in the rewards page.

How long do you have to watch the stream for?

For me it doesn’t have a competition thing

You should be seeing progress after just a couple minutes. Are you sure you linked your accounts together? If you click on Settings and then Connections and scroll to the bottom, do you see this?

If so, are you sure you’re watching a stream that has Drops enabled? On the All Campaigns tab of the Drops and Rewards, scroll down to the Hitman entry and click the link that to go to a Participating Live Channel. You need to make sure you’re watching one of those to get progress. I’m not sure whether the official Hitman channel enables drops or not.

I love the idea of having to fill up the water balloon at a sink first.

To slowly pull this away from the verbal pissing contest:

The roadmap has me kinda split. On the one hand, I am left quite satisfied with the special assignment’s general feel and gameplay. This is about as complex as The Infiltrator was, and because you can, shocker, save, it feels much more approachable. Even Snoop was not nearly as annoying as I expected (still not a fan of him, but his frequent cameos in other places means he knows how to voice act. I think my only complaint is his dialog is too low a volume, and is noticeably different to everyone else’s.

I enjoyed much more than I expected, though there are still some ET-isms, such as revamping only a part of a location the player isn’t really meant to leave (I do appreciate the rewards for exploring though, shame the contest winners not named Urben got culled).

But on the other hand, the DLC for it costs almost twice as much, which I am a bit puzzled on. I am aware Snoop is a big name, but I can’t shake the feeling that the DLC is expensive as it is to capitalise on his celebrity as much as possible.

The challenge for Ambrose Island was just…shit. it requires the player to either abuse an exploit relating to gun irresponsibility, or just drag the body through a populated beach/militia. It reminded me of the “Making waves” challenge that was cut not long Into Hitman 2s life because of how much it deviated from Hitmans gameplay (dumping bodies into the ocean, which would get stuck on the cliff face).

And all for a ICA19 reskin that may actually be worse than the ICA 19.

Very mixed bag this roadmap. I’ll have more thoughts in a roadmap video soon.

I thought this was appropriate. They redid the mansion (which in-story is where Cane now lives and works) and the island (to a point…not sure what else they could have done to that) but the actual resort areas were untouched and that’s probably right. There are still people vacationing on this island and they still needed places to stay, the gym and pool for recreation, etc. If they had redone the entire map, it would have been more to explore, sure, but maybe less real? I don’t know.

It was probably the right amount of map modification, I think.

How about adding the ability to use all “smuggled item” locations simultaneously allowing you to bring multiple items?

I get it, but also, they did take the time to actually edit portmans hut and a few other places, so its not nothing either.

Not a bad thing, really, but it is a noticeable design quirk with these missions. Props for the Devs removing the Haven logo in the reception and truncating the response for getting a shark hut key.

Just makes this mission feel like an in-between sort of thing, something The Icon tried to avoid by blocking off the rest of Sapienza, despite also taking place in one area.

From the trailer, I did expect some sort of production setup on the beach, with target routing and kill opportunities… but I should also know that a trailer will not be representative of the actual mission.

Yeah, they’ve done far more and far less, to be sure. I think about maps where they haven’t changed anything at all, really. In fact most of the normal Elusive Targets use maps that have almost nothing about the map changed from the original mission. Even with the Celebrity versions, map changes can be few and far between. Mark Faba, for instance, has very little changed (the original targets are even still on the map). Van Damme’s mission changes a lot within the ICA facility but almost nothing outside it (that I can recall anyway). Le Chiffre is fairly significant in terms of map changes one the first and third floors but the second floor is largely the same. Bruce Lee changes that one suite but the rest is pretty much the same. The two versions of Sgail have changes where the fight actually happens and the training room but the rest is mostly the same as the original mission. The DJ is mostly unchanged except where the target actually goes. I think the map that changed the most is Eminem’s mission and they did a fairly good job of making that map feel more like a dream than a real location (I think).

It is nice to see a lot of reworking of these maps and I really don’t know what the development effort is to modify an existing map, but it’s appreciated when the target isn’t just walking around on a carbon copy of the original map with the original targets still around.

It’s at least less misleading than the harbinger, which was wholly misleading gameplay-wise

Uh, explain this one? It’s functionality identical and unlike most reskins with the rectangular suppressor, aesthetically pleasing.

Has anyone experienced suppressed sniper rifles looking a bit…janky when smuggled in as agency pickups with this update? I have not been able to reproduce this consistently (so I’m not quite sure why this might be happening), but I’ve seen it twice now.

(the two instances in question)

You know what, IO should add more unlocks like Pinot Noir and the cocktail shaker; those are received approximately equally poorly by everyone.
