Handyman Wrench is much easier to get than Professional Screwdriver, but Iām still glad that an alternative unlock is available for both. Twitch drops for the Purple Streak Wrench are live now.

Same, honestly an underwhelming unlock for an item I hardly take on missions because the times I need it thereās always on on the map, and an hour of time is a bit much between works and family duties, when I have the free time Iād rather play than watch someone else for that long.

I never actually watch for any twitch unlocks. Put a stream on my phone and put it down while I do something else/sleep.

I use Twitch Drops Miner since my PC is a bit old and it lags if I run a twitch stream. Meanwhile the miner handles any game that has drops for no effort beyond setup.

Iām curious when the next patch/roadmap will be. Logically Iād assume the last week in May since it seems like theyāre wanting to do Celeb ETs pretty much back-to-back this whole year, and the next one should be the second new one of Year 6 judging by how it was listed as a Spring ET alongside The Infiltrator and The Banker. But thatās right when 007 First Light is releasing.
I donāt think theyād want to have both a big new ET for Hitman and their big new game making headlines at exactly the same time. Maybe if itās another James Bond tie-in ET?

Itās also ridiculous they havenāt made hardcore mode in Freelander more worthwhile. Double all the payouts or something. Make it worth the risk.
And could we please fix the menu UI so it doesnāt require 3 menus deep to get into freelancer safehouse? Piss on the screen thatās literally āSafehouseā OR āHow to play videoā followed by the regular menu, then you can finally go to safehouse. Put the damn video somewhere ELSE!

Iāve requested that some time ago.
You can play the introduction and tutorial videos in the pause menu and the basement, so telling the game that you want to play Freelancer 3 times to finally load it should be changed into a one-click launch after launching it for the first time. If I click on āPlay Freelancerā, then I definitely want to play Freelancer.
It also needs a patch, some people are crashing shortly after the loading screen, me included. I have to change settings back and forth to be able to play it. The campaign and everything else works just fine.

A (late) post about the new celebrET Ducky, the Poker Face Duck.
Because it has something unique.
Distraction devices and other phones usually cannot be functionally placed in briefcases.
You can place them, but you wonāt have the remote trigger.
The Poker Face Duck can. presumably because itās still considered an āexplosive duckā by the game under those circumstances.
So, if you place it in a briefcase you gain a new gameplay feature:
A Lure-to-Self Briefcase.
(technically you can do the same with Mr. Chainsaw Jr., but for some reason you cannot āsqueezeā it if you are leaning into a cover/wall. This one is consistently open to use.)
Which makes me pretty happy, because Iāve been dreaming of a ālure-to-self phoneā item for a while now.
This is a cumbersome way to have facsimile.
But at least now I can see how it feels to play with.
(itās fun, luring people in without having to throw a coin a your own feet)
(the radius is way too small to be meaningfully useful though)

You can do it with pretty much any item though, no need to bother with a duck or a briefcase :x
(although one situation where this ābriefcase duckā could be useful is if you needed to lure someone to you when theyās already aware of your presence - I dunno if itās particularly useful since you canāt really kill them in plain view, and itās probably easier to just place a micro distraction device and pick it up immediately to use it again while the duck is single use :x )
(also you can already lure people to the flash phone and pick it up before them so they donāt get flashed, which means there is technically some kind of lure phone in the game?)

Iāve noticed this myself,but in your experience does it seems as if fewer NPCS notice the sound when used within the briefcase? In my testing it seems far fewer NPCS notice the sound when itās concealed within the case than not.
Are there more featured contracts due tomorrow? Or given how close we are to the release of 007 thereāll be nothing until the new roadmap?
