I think honestly hyperbole is warranted here because I do think the bugs theyve added are uniquely bad for WoA and fundamentally what is the only place to play this trilogy. If I could simply play the game offline and not need to install updates I could downgrade my copy but im buying all the DLC to support IOI and support this live service system and to have three or four game-breaking bugs introduced per patch is really bad

I wonder if the plan at one point was to have a soccer themed Celeb ET, given the many football themed items in the World Champions pack, but then the deal fell through.
Just seems very strange to put in the effort to have designed two distinct soccer team outfits, with even brand new sponsor companies not seen in Hitman WoA (at least, not to my knowledge), just for a DLC pack. Also weird that we get two DLC packs now, when it’s been just one at a time since Freelancer launched. Also weird that it gives so much in it, the previous celeb DLCs have all been 1 suit and 3 items, but this one is 3 suits and 6 items (technically 9 counting the Disruptor ones).
My guess is they were planning on some big football player for the celeb, and started to make assets for the mission, but then the deal fell through so they repurposed the team jerseys as suits and threw in a few extra items they had made for the mission so they wouldn’t go totally to waste. The Vuvuzela Duck twitch drop is another soccer tie-in even though there’s no football related mission, and it kinda seems similar in design to the other Celeb ET IO account ducks. Not really sure where a football field would even fit though, maybe Mendoza?

That would be awesome, personally not a soccer fan but would love to see IOI repurpose Miami into a sports arena, I wished for something like that since they released the New York mission , there’s a small room to the left of the entrance where two guards are chatting and a baseball segment is on tv, I always thought it would be hilarious with 47 dressed as a pitcher and when one of the targets goes up to bat, he swaps a normal baseball with the explosive one, a soccer (football where applicable) game would be just as good

I’ve complete the ET and the Arcade version, and I’ve decided that, yeah, I like them both, for different reasons each. The new version with the Wizard is better in presentation, but the Disruptor version is more entertaining with the characters. Evenly divided, fun in their own ways, unlikable in their own ways. If IOI were going for an equal but different experience with each, then they were a success in that endeavor.

I didn’t mind it at all they were listening when folks said they wanted a solution, owning the original DLC still gives me access to the mission, one that didn’t get to play the original got to at least try the setting, and I believe even access to the original DLCs items, I didn’t even mind paying a few dollars for the rehashed mission, im a older player from a time you bought a game like Street Fighter 2 on the SNES, then Turbo for a few upgrades and finally Super for yet another few, at about $60 or so a pop.

I imagine they will patch these issues sooner than later. I think it’s great to report bugs, especially game breaking ones that have been mentioned, but no need to bash the team over it either. I’m sure this update had more time crunch than usual with 007 coming out right beforehand.

Hmmm. Just saw a post on reddit that might explain the missing Muay Thai duck. Some people are reporting that even though they have never played The Reflection (Eminem ET), the Chainsaw Duck has shown up in their IOI Account after playing The Wizard.
They might have accidentally loaded the ducks in the wrong order, which would explain why nothing is happening for those that already have The Chainsaw Duck.
Hopefully when @IOI_Artjoms is back online, he can find out whats happening here instead of theories.

Would make sense, I received the track suit duck before the influential duck a month before it released, I already had the chainsaw duck so I can’t confirm, why not just release the duck as part of the DLC pack or instantly upon playing the mission much like the Greek Fire Suit for example, and all without an IOI account.

It’s both funny and sad that IO hasn’t got any of this ducks right. All other account rewards have worked fine for the most part, but the ET ducks are always messed up.
