On the off chance they add something unannounced. But you’re right, that’s probably not happening. 
I wouldn’t count on that. They always load stuff in early. The Codename 47 challenge pack was loaded in at the start of 2023 as an example.
I meant adding something unannounced/extra to the Undying road map. Completely forgot about future unlocks/content being added early.
So yeah, there’s that too.

Shouldn’t be time alteady to add the roadmap to the main menu? There might be people that don’t read the forums with absolutely no clue about any of the content and its release dates.

Less than 48 hours remain until the Undying dies again, and I’ve only now noticed how after blue egg unlock there’s going to be a nearly month-long gap in the roadmap.

Unlikely. I hate to say it, but IOI’s track record on giving advance updates on events is somewhat sketchy of late. They already said we’re getting the Undying back and they’ve said what will be included. There isn’t anything else they are likely to tell us until the day of release.

I’d of thought they’d have to be a game update to port the content over I guess? 
surely that will include bug fixes along with other things?
They’ve done game updates the morning of release before. They may have just forgotten to put it on the roadmap.
And anytime they accidentally do they promptly take it down.

You need to lower you expectations for communications out of IO tbh.
We’re still waiting for replies to questions about some ambiguous phrasing in the roadmap blogpost from a month ago that combatglue has either somehow still not seen or just decided to ignore.

Servers go down soon for maintenance… No clue why IO haven’t even bothered to send out a tweet to say its coming, or at least give a heads up that today a patch is coming and at least creating the expectation of maintenance. For a lot of people, this is going to come completely out of nowhere.
For some it was obvious since they have to get some of the new stuff like the new Arcade contract into the game, but they can’t expect the casual player base to be aware of that.
