Seven Deadly Sins Act 4: Lust

Honestly I’m a bit happy if we don’t get anything more major than Escalations for the 7DS DLC. The vignette/filter around every one of these so far is honestly a strain on the eyes sometimes and I wouldn’t want to spend 30-minutes at a time looking at it. Feels claustrophobic at times too, in regards to your vision of the level.

And yeah, it does bug out too (it often disappears if you push the camera up against a wall.)

Pride was the best and most replayable gameplay-wise (though it was split between Challenging vs. Very Easy targets). Sloth gave a nice, unique, pretty difficult experience for challenges. Looks like they might be keeping up with Level Editing and unique objectives for future sins, and that’s the perfect way to go.

Interesting. In my opinion, sloth was the only one worth the price.Greed seemed really bad and pride had a pretty interesting and unique gameplay element, but still not enough to convince me to buy it.In fact, sloth was the only one I decided to spend money on and I don’t regret it.It was one of the best escalations I have ever played in the whole trilogy.

I guess it is not really for everyone though because it can be really challenging for the less experienced players. It encourages you to constantly optimize your route in order to spend less vitality, which can be annoying for players who like to take their time.Thankfully,I don’t like playing slowly so this escalation was clearly my type.

Maybe I should try Pride as well at some point though.

I think that Sloth was actually more replayable. The targets could be killed in a lot of different ways thanks to their routes and the different weapons left around the map+the optional target and the vitality encouraged more experimentation. Both are good escalations though.

Would it though? Seems kind of random to have him be attracted to someone he sees for maybe 20 minutes when Diana, and all she represents, is right there in Mendoza…wearing that dress…

Paging @DrMekar we need a consult stat

Well, it’s not like it takes that long to do it, especially for reused Assets. It just always saddens me that they put all this effort in Stuff like this, while especially Mendoza and Chongqing are filled to the brim with reused Models… while also reusing atleast Sgail (Mendoza) and New York (Chongqing) Assets aswell.

Model expert DrMekar, report at the reception desk.

True, they could retexture some existing models or squish two different models together like they’ve done in the past.

I agree with Bourbon. This would be a really weird situation to throw 47 into, if only because that’s just not how 47 operates… he’s got eyes only for one woman.

I enjoy the idea based on the trailer, that this Sin voice is trying to play the part of Diana, possibly in a mocking way.
The voiceover at the start of the level sounds kinda similar to Jane Perry.

Speaking of VA’s, I’ve recently found out that Greed has 3 VA’s - Jane Perry at begining, of course, but then Matthew Gravelle and Sean Power. I assume Gravelle is voicing higher voice, that ecourages you to collect coins, while Power’s is deeper, which tells you to eliminate your targets.

Oh wow, so they add in the extra voice over credits of the DLC to the main game’s credits.

Nice gesture from IOI.

By far the best deadly sins suit even if it has driving gloves.

I think I might actually use this one occasionally instead of just looking at it once and being done with it.

honestly, kinda glad lust doesnt involve diana, shes a pure, well raised bri ish woman. she doesnt have time for such unsavory parties

Yeah if they’d had Diana growl at 47 in Lust like she did in Greed?

Well isn’t that just the point of all these demons needling at 47? What if you were just in it for yourself? What if you didn’t try to be perfect? What if she wasn’t so above it all…

I think the serpent weapons will be KILL items. Cuz that’s what a snake bite would usually do.

Edit: but I think if it is that then bodies found should negate SA. But it should help with killing a target more silently with others around as it should not make any noise with others around when the bow is shot and when a victim gets the bow put in them. Like a flying lethal needle. lol

We’ve had fugu toxin. Bring on the snake venom!

This new content includes the Lust Assignation Escalation, a unique one-stage contract that tasks you with hunting down safes and blowing them open (alternatively, keys are available) to collect intel on a secret admirer.

LOL THEY DID IT

It ‘escalates’ over… one stage

Well, that escalated quickly.

Sorry.

Super vague “Something went wrong” error when downloading the Lust DLC from PlayStation Store on PS5 and cannot install it (not that it matters too much just yet because of maintenance). Neat.

@Travis_IOI Exact error code is CE-107880-4

Well, The Lust Assignation is definitely interesting. The random target (lover) is good but the random safe spawns are really annoying.

These random targets and vague clues are torturing me. If someone with patience can write a guide or tell me what does each clue means I’ll be so grateful.
Maybe I’m dumb but I’ve waste 2 hours on it. Just end my suffer plz. :sob:

From what I can gather, at least with the first 3 clues (spoilers for people who want to solve it themselves):

The first clue is “a puff of smoke” if the admirer’s a smoker, or “a cloudless air” if they don’t smoke.

The second clue says they’re “dancing” if they’re one of the four people dancing, or “standing” if they don’t dance.

The third clue deals with whether they drink white or “finest red” wine.

I believe this narrows it down to two suspects, and getting the other 3 clues can help you identify which one’s correct.

A major concern about this pack of DLCs…
