With the last patch, I feel like there’s been a regression with the Silent Assassin in Freelancer mode. It works like Hitman 2016: if a target sees us committing an illegal act, it permanently breaks the Silent Assassin. I’m not 100% sure if this started with this patch. See for yourself:
If I recall correctly, SANF behaves like 2016 but SA and SASO do not.
As I understand it, in Freelancer, the only real Silent Assassin is the Prestige Objective, and once it is lost for whatever reason, it is indeed irrevocably lost.
“Silent Assassin - No Firearms” has always failed if the target discovers the crime, even before the patch.
As in 2016, a clean play is required.
This is the way I looks at it as well for Freelancer

I can’t help but wonder why the specifications are like this.
I think your SA is lost in freelancer with no way of getting it back because it’s to be consistent with other objectives.
For ex. say you have “Hide Target Bodies” and your target sees another targets body and ruins the objective. Should killing that target that saw the other targets body revive your “Hide Target Bodies” fail?
Same thing with “Don’t Get Spotted”, “Don’t Ruin Your Disguies” “No bodies found”.. possibly other objectives I’m forgetting
