I’m sure this has come up before, but I didn’t see it in my search.
I’m trying to knock off all the challenges, currently doing Surgical Precision. I got through part one by accident in a firefight, and was able to do part 2 with little difficulty. I’m in the Outgunned map, and I’ve killed the same three guys about five times now. I haven’t been detected, I haven’t missed. All died with headshots, the counter comes up after each kill.
But the counter keeps resetting to zero. Sometimes it comes up and is at zero. Is there a time limit to get the next kill? Is this a bug?
I suck at shooting (didn’t even try for the Gun Shop challenges) and I’m playing on an Xbox. Don’t know if PCs and PSs are as difficult to aim as Xbox, or if it’s just me. I nudge it, it doesn’t move. I nudge it again, it doesn’t move. I nudge it a little harder, and it jumps to the other side of the screen.
Should I just give up or is there some better way to do this?
This makes me think, something wrong with your controller or your game settings.
There should be an option for sensitivity. Try to search it and play with it.
Pay attention on your controller. Maybe it needs service or replacement.
As for the challenge itself, I can’t tell you anything. I don’t remember how I did it, it was years ago. And I don’t have game intalled at the moment to see what’s it all about. Plus I’m on PC.
I believe you have consulted with youtube on the challenge mechanics?
In this video, I get four headshot kills, don’t miss a shot, and I am not detected. The game counts the first two, but then the third kill is counted as my first. And the fourth kill resets it back to zero.
Either I don’t understand the parameters of this challenge, or this is a glitch and I should move on. Thanks.
