Switcher's Top 10 Best Featured Contracts of All Time List

As I have talked about and mentioned before I have completed every single featured contract available in Hitman WOA and here is my list for the top 10 best FCs of all time.
A couple of players asked me how did I manage to go through all of these contracts and actually SA them. My answer is that some of you need to get banned from making contracts! (jokingly). While yeah, many of them are quite painful to play and sometimes it hurts just by looking at the objectives. There are plenty of wonderful contracts and creators you should play and I’m here now to recommend my favorite 10.

Surprisingly, there are 7 H3 contracts and only 3 H2 contracts on this list, I must say that back in H2 players used to joke about how Clemens picked contracts only by reading the briefing and how they are all pretty bad, I don’t even think he even took a look at the objectives tbh. Bad contracts on top of bad contracts and overall H3 had much better creators (and curators).

Disclaimers:
  • Best is just a better word to say favorite, ofcourse my opinions do not stand for the entire community that’s why it’s “Switcher’s” list.
  • All 10 contracts chosen are by different creators so it wouldn’t just be 6 players ruling the list, I might love other FCs by said creators aswell but I want to give a shoutout to as many players as possible.
  • Just to keep this list interesting I am not putting here any of the FCs I created or any of the ones I have chosen for my batch, ofcourse I think they’re all awesome, if they weren’t awesome these ones wouldn’t have been featured.
  • The list is in random order.

SIX CHIMNEYS IN KONIGSBERG By @Urben
This contract is just genius, 6 targets circling each other forming 2 paths the player can take and my brain is still struggling to understand how it even works that way. Not only it’s a genius contract but it’s also so much fun with the great target choices and lots of freedom.

VRTRUVIAN MEN By @magicdave94
I am usually against loadout limitations but here it was excecuted so well it made the contract incredibly great, forcing one natural electrocution accident, having the watercooler right inbetween the 2 targets - that was amazing!

PERFECT SHOOTER PUZZLE (REMIX) By White-Half
THIS is what puzzle contracts need to aim for, while if you know the game each kill individually is simple - having these five targets all together in the same contract makes you consider heavily the way you approach this contract, not to quickly waste your loadout. Great target choices with great kill methods and it’s amazing overall.

A FROSTY NEW YEAR IN NEW YORK By @ilovewombats2
I know that most players wouldn’t pick this one due to the time limit and the unnecessary suit restriction but I really enjoyed playing this contract - 3 unique target choices with fun kill methods made this contract so enjoyable for me it’s unbelieveable. Also having Sugar Squirrel and with her challenging kill method was some extra fun among the contract’s very unique plays, lots of fun!

ABBA KALEIDOSCOPE By HaiSenBao
One straight path that connects the two starts of metal worker and militia chef and four great choices of targets placed through it, some are harder and some are easier yet this contract flows so well with any of them in it!

SANTAWEEVIL’S SONOKO By @Charlie_Farmer
What a wonderful Paris contract! I wouldn’t call myself a Paris hater but I am not the biggest fan of how theres a single large building in the middle of the map and flat ground just surrounds it - but this contract utilizes the large building in the middle so well, placing both targets inside the can be killed from the outside and targets outside aswell, what a wondeerful contract!

NO TALKING, FOCUS ON THE JOB By @Trzebiat
This contract consists of the 15 NPCs that talk to the agents during the mission, by kiiling them all they now won’t be talking and they’ll focus on the job, while 15 targets is a giant risk for contracts (and requires HCCE, god bless Urben), large scaled contracts like this shouldn’t be made, but this one is just near perfection, it’s hard but not too hard so for each target you feel rewarded, and at the very least most of them are incredible choices of targets, very fun to kill and this contracts balances greatly challenging targets and easier targets, just wow.

TUK-TUK BANG BANG By @zubin47
What an awesome contract! 4 targets around the outside area of the streets of mumbai forming some kind of squared route in the street, plenty of kill opportunities are available and there are countless ways to complete this one.

WATER WAY TO GO… By @Kevin_Rudd
This is a contract that I can not recommend for those who aren’t 100% aware of the game’s mechanics, but for those who truly know how to play the game it’s a really fun contract. The point of this contract is to snipe the targets into the water with a non lethal sniper so the game will consider it a fall kill. The targets are also really challenging and require lots of patience but this contract is incredibly fun if you know how to play the game.

FISH STEW By @AgentSnail47
This contract manages to create a race against the clock - without including a timer! it’s so linear yet so fun it’s a blast to come back to over and over again, this contract shows how the inclusion of unique and clever kill methods can make contracts alot better!

I don’t remember all of them, but seems you’ve picked a few of not easy ones.
Personally I don’t like heavy featured contracts.
For regular contracts they are alright, but Featured should not be too puzzleish in my opinion, because I take Featured as a face of contracts

Great choice, some of them would probably also be on my list. I’m almost finished playing all featured contracts SA, maybe I’ll start over and do my own list.

It really depends on the contract, the hard ones on this list are Water Way To Go and A Frosty New Year In New York, revolving around challenging, puzzling targets. The rest of the contracts are fairly simple to SA if you are good enough at it, these contracts are clever in the way they function, not in puzzles and such.

Thank you mate! And good luck with the rest of the contracts you got left :brown_heart:

Nice choice. VRtruvian Men was a particularly good one :slight_smile:

I remember that you told me that specifically Dave made a really cool contract for your batch, but when the batch came out I was stunned by how great it was lol, truly amazing.

Yeah I was quite pleased with my contracts in that batch. The worst one was probably mine, which I was less happy with to be honest!

Such kind words :face_holding_back_tears: Thank you :heart:
I did put a lot of time and effort into trying to make that one good as it was my first FC and I have to say I was quite pleased with how it turned out.

Of all my FCs you pick my biggest regret, that everyone hated :sweat_smile:

Thank you for the pick though :people_hugging:

I probably would have picked something like Grand Theft Bosco

I think it was hated because at the time I can not believe most players could solve it, but when I was grinding through the FCs and had the knowledge to solve this one, it was way more fun.
The idea is really smart and fun.
If I were to pick a different contract by you maybe “Whats In The Box” or that Any/Any Miami contract which I can not remember the name of (I’ll edit it and add the name), but when I played this one I just went “Wow, this was so cool”.

Nah, this one is too simple imo, not much to it.

Heres my run of it, it’s a really fun contract idc what everyone else think

Great to have made it into your top 10. :smiling_face: Also neat because I curated two others in this list.

I started with thinking where NPCs should be and what they should wear to make this work. Luckily I found each of them present around the spots. An approach that very rarely works out. :joy:

I found this in my old notes:

X = Gardener
Y = Guard
x = kill as Gardener
y = kill as Guard
a = kill as Any

Boat  Xx  Yy

Xy    Garden    Yx Bridge

Ya    Mansion   Xa

    Suit Start

That was a very long sentence!

I think for every “Don’t” there is a contract that is a counter example that shows how it can be a great idea.

Ngl the fact that 2 of the other contracts on this list (SantaWeevil’s SONOKO & Perfect Shooter Puzzle) were both chosen by you shows how great of a curator you are.
Also the way your contract works and how technical it is just contributes to the enjoyment so well it can not go unnoticed.

You are totally right! This contract could have been extremely awful but somehow it turned great instead, it’s somewhat luck but also Trzebiat seeing how well the targets all work together.

“I Can Do Better” I believe, the secret sniper contract. And yeah What’s In The Box is definitely a good H3 era FC. Glad you appreciate them

Thanks mate for the details :smiley:I remember it was my first contract which got selected after a long submission for some time.
I remember the first idea came to me when I was travelling in a tuk tuk, and that I realised the exits in the map are connected to the life of tuk tuk drivers - if you kill one you block that exit. Perhaps this logic shortlisted this contract by Clemens.
BTW you have much patience completing all the FC (and also to those players who have completed all FCs).

Oh yeah, I don’t think that Sniper is the best approach but eh, it was a really fun contract overall.
But yeah, Whats In The Box is a great contract, a really clever and fun idea and it was even improved by the Car Exit later added into the game!

Didn’t even considered the exit limitations, truly an incredible and well crafted contract

Wow, thank you for choice ABBA KALEIDOSCOPE, I very like this contract. The selection of 4 targets is very clever, and you can even snipe all targets on the beach. :slightly_smiling_face:

Sniping them all from the beach is crazy, tho due to the disguise changes it’s best to kill them up close
