I’m curious as to whether the anonymous creator(s) had any information ahead of time about the Bruce Lee ET.
The theme of this batch seems to line up with it nicely, but maybe it was a ‘generic’ batch just planned for this release window by IOI or perhaps a happy coincidence.
In any case looking forward to getting into them over the weekend.
My idea was to keep the creators and my identity a secret so players can focus on the contracts and not the person. Basically the contracts have the spotlight not me or the creators…Nobody in this batch works for iOi but that is a great guess.
I guess I’m in the minority here but I don’t think that this batch is good at all.
There was no variety to the tiniest little details, every contract is a 5 targets that are all based on the same outfit (as in specific guards, handymen, etc) with specific exceptions (the berlin one had Rolf alongside the 4 bikers and the wc had an undercover guard and the hammer alongside 3 of cassidy’s bodyguards), and if the specific target wasn’t Any Method they were either Unarmed, a specific melee or fiber wire.
I felt like I played the same contract like 7 times.
7 times because I did enjoy “A Ninja’s Promise”, “The Katana That Never Sleeps” and “The Ancient Fiber”.
I liked these 3 because of how the targets were spread, how the environment assited with the kills, routing. With these 3 it all worked somewhat nice.
The other 7 contracts felt like replicas of each other, worth to mention “Crouching Assassin Hidden Neckbreaker” and “Shuriken of Silence” targets are placed so similarly in both contracts it feels the same.
Overall I’d recommend “A Ninja’s Promise” for whoever wants a fun contract, other than that it’s a throwaway.
Damn I keep making negetive comments over batches, I feel like something is wrong with me at this point lol.
Just finished this batch and it was very enjoyable. I like that these were a bit more laid back and didn’t require me to bring any emetics in.
A lot of Featured Contracts I’m usually having to bring a Seiker, Durian, Gas Device etc. and it just gets so same-y, so these were refreshing to play.
I thought this was a decent batch that thankfully lacked any annoyingly long and tedious contracts that the last few batches have had. They were a bit samey with all of them being 5 targets so a bit more variety would have been nice. None of them really stand out but I enjoyed them all.
