I’m getting double pay from work on Christmas. It’s something called the 13th month.
With this money I will pay some debt off that I have. I will probably work extras as a bouncer Christmas and New Year as I need to save a lot of money now on the side. My landlord told me he will not renew my house contract next year so I have exactly 11 months to find a house to buy because living in rent has become expensive with the high risk that in 4 year you will find yourself on the streets as it is happening to me right now and many more I know.
But worry do not. The Italian state and province are giving financial help for folks under the 36 of age to buy their first home. Not to mention my parents will help with the advanced payment on the loan I have to make for the house.
Another thing yet to consider is that in my area houses have become expensive too due to inflation and also because I live in a very touristic place. So if I don’t find anything nearby I have to search 2 or 3 towns away where they are slightly more affordable. But things will work out in the end. I am lucky when it comes to these kind of things.
I am also separating from my girlfriend because we can’t stand each others anymore.
But my Silverballer after 9 years is finally ready so I got that going for me which is very nice.

Every year my family goes out and gets a Christmas tree. We set it up already in our living room and I’ll post pictures later when we finish decorating it.

I like spending time with my (immediate) family and friends over the festive period but not really anybody else.

This year will be the first year that we aren’t really doing anything. No one is coming over, we aren’t going anywhere, and haven’t even bothered to put up the Christmas decorations (Halloween is still up).
