"The Cool Club" being difficult

I’m trying to get Sniper Assassin on Mumbai. I’ve already done “Within a Broader Scope”, but didn’t get credit for Sniper, most likely because Rangan’s boys always see me somehow and come running. I thought a fun way to pop the challenge would be to assume the Kashmirian’s identity, kill both targets the way he intended (with my Arctic Sieger), bring my sniper briefcase to the Maelstrom meeting, and no-scope him while his back is turned.

So my order of operations is: give the painter the paint tube, knock out the Kashmirian and take his clothes, take the Rangan shot, give the foreman the documents, take the Vanya shot, then call the Maelstrom.

Problem is the phone prompt isn’t there. Both targets are down and I have coins. This worked before when I let the Kashmirian take them both out by proxy. The only difference here is that I took the shots myself. Does “The Cool Club” only work if the Kashmirian kills the targets himself?

It’s been ages since I unlocked this, but according to https://hitman.fandom.com/wiki/The_Cool_Club the challenge only requires you to attend the meeting with the Maelstrom disguised as the Kashmirian.

I think that phone prompt only works if he kills both targets though, that’s true. If you take out the targets instead, he gets spooked and tries to get out of town (like he goes to a bus stop and waits or something). It’s killing both targets that gives him the confidence to approach the Maelstrom.

But as I said, it’s been a really long time since I did it.

Problem is the phone prompt isn’t there.

Did you use the dongle to read the information on the laptop? Without doing that, 47 doesn’t know the number to call.
