Hmm, is that from the story I heard about where Joker thinks he actually killed Batman, then goes insane (which for him means going sane), and tries to live a normal life for a while?
No, this hasnât even come out yet. This is from an upcoming event (yet anther one) called Knight Terror, it is some bullshit about being trapped in living nightmares or whatever, I donât fucking care at this point. Seems like Jokerâs worst fear is society. I think this says a lot about society or something.
Oh, for fuckâs sake. This is the only problem I have with the Joker being used so much; he keeps being used by people that donât understand the fucking character. The Joker wouldnât be experiencing his worst fear by being stuck in a call center desk job. Heâd be laughing non-stop. The Joker fucking laughs when heâs confronted by things that terrify him, he thinks scary things and the fact that theyâre scaring him is hilarious! He should be rolling around on the floor knocking shit over everywhere. Damn clueless writers boxing him into the image of just being some philosophy-spouting edge-lord who hates society. That was Heathâs version only, goddammit.
I think there is a certain irony in saying only Ledger style Joker should be philosophical edge-lord then apparently simping for the Bronze Age Joker who literally paralysed a young woman to make a point about society.
DC are afraid of letting us see Gorilla Joker, the one true Joker.
That wasnât to make a point about society, that was to break Jim Gordon, which was a stepping stone to break Batman, and thatâs the game he plays. He only did that to Barbara on a whim, hadnât cared if the shot was fatal or not, and did it because he thought it was funny that day. At any given time Joker might wax philosophical, but itâs just based on his mood, itâs not his motivation.
Hey, something that kills millions of assholes every year canât be all bad, right?
Lmao what year is that comic
