Yeah, thatâs not how nihilism actually works. The whole âif life doesnât matter, then why donât you kill yourselfâ argument is a fallacy. Even nihilists can fear death due to both survival instinct and intrinsic fear of the unknown beyond death. They simply wonât use the argument that life, even theirâs, should not be terminated because of inherent value or meaning.
