Still, MindsEye actually looks quite nice visually. I didnât follow any of the pre-release info (not that there was much), so I didnât even know itâs set in fake Vegas. If the writing and base gameplay are solid, it might not be that bad. Though evidently itâs gonna need a helluva lot of patchingâŚ
NO! Mafia 3 IS bad. At least if you are a completionist and try to do everything. The game is pretty much Vaasâ definition of insanity The Video Game. Over 20 hours of gameplay and I only accomplished to unlock the 3 lieutenants and eliminate one of the starting targets and there was no variety or change in gameplay between these things. None! Watch the cutscenes and listen to the soundtrack on YT, Mafia 3 is shit for the birds.
Yeah, true, the grindy repetitive gameplay loop is bad and a pain if youâre a completionist. But the setting, story, and character performances are worth it. Got a soft spot for New Orleans, so I really appreciate the Southern setting.
Always found it funny that that line came from a game which embodies the very worst of Ubisoftâs repetitive content.
What even is this game? Iâve only been hearing about it this past week or so. Looks like a Watch Dogs clone.
