I think it’s to do with (maybe) having a member of Kuomintang be the protagonist when most movies try their best to appeal to the current government of China. I still don’t get it either.
Correct. You wouldn’t want to mess with the mass audiences of China as a movie studio with such a controversial theme. Matter of fact, Chiang himself, to this day, isn’t exactly a popular historic figure in Taiwan, either.
The film is Shang-Chi. Shang was an Asian-American martial arts master whose comic was made to cash-in on the kung fu craze. Chiang Kai-Shek was the leader of the Kuomintang.
The person who made this (most likely) simply thought the names sounded alike so he changed it. The fact that Disney (and most studios, big or small) wouldn’t make this film in a million years is just a happy coincidence.
Fun fact, Trump suspended himself from his own app. Gettr allows you to transfer your Twitter which Trump did forgetting his account was suspended. Gettr is half alt-right bigotry and half Left leaning people pretending to be conservatives.
Gotta love Satin and Brianwashing as well. I think this might be a parody because there is no way a person could be this crazy and have access to a phone.
