The press release for the announcement says it is coming to PS5 and Xbox in 2025. It does not mention PC. Presumably its coming later than the launch on console like GTA V did…

Plenty of time for the technology to catch up then. I cannot imagine what the specs for that game are going to be. Lucky I am just a console pleb so it isn’t my problem.

All PC releases of GTA starting with GTA III were released months (or years in the case of V) after the console releases. I’d be more surprised if the PC launch was the same day as the console launch.

Been touching up on Grand Theft Auto IV, while yes I’ve been playing the main story that’s not the point of this post.
I’m currently working on a weapon overhaul that improves most of, but not all weapons in IV/Episodes. I’m making it with TACE in mind since I feel it’s an essential mod similar to TTW for Fallout NV.
Currently the overhaul is focused on tweaking weapon value and “fixing” how specific weapons function and feel in turn giving new life to what felt like very samey weapons.
Three Things I’ve Done So Far

Adjusted CZ75 (Semi Automatic Pistol) to be Semi Auto, but Automatic when blind firing.

Decreased AK47 fire rate so it shoots slightly slower than the M4

Replace AK47 with TLAD AK47 that’s in the files.

Replaced Vanilla Semi Auto Shotgun with TLAD Semi Auto Shotgun
Again this overhaul is very much a WIP, but it’s something I’ll be working on during my spare time. I’m navigating GTA IV and coding at a slow, but steady progress and have been learning more and more. The end goal is to at the very give the games weapons a new fresh feeling, but once I learn how to add new weapons I’ll probably go back and reimplement some cut content aswell.

After watching the GTA VI trailer, i didn’t really felt those Vice City vibes that we had on previous games, it felt different. Not bad, but different…
So i decided to take my hands on it and do my custom remade trailer using images from the trailer and the all-time classic Vice City iconic theme to get a closer vibe on how i feel it

I’m just waiting for GTA4 to get ported to modern consoles. It’s like Rockstar has completely forgotten that that game exists.

Then good news for you, there have been rumors for it! I hope it’s Double Eleven doing this, with their experience of porting another early RAGE game to modern consoles, that is Red Dead Redemption. It was a great port, especially on Nintendo Switch.
I’m honestly more excited for a GTA4 remastered rather than GTA6.
That one had the best story hands down.

Won’t happen especially for VCS.
VCS specifically has stuff integral to the story that is really problematic in today’s world and or is tied to licenses.
Love the game, but I don’t see rockstar removing integral stuff like the Phil Collins missions from the game.
TLDR: it’s not Rockstars fault licenses expire. GTA became a Goliath and upon renewal time came the licensors most likely wanted more money than before.

Probably will but I’m sure we’re getting gta4 just before 6 after another 2 or 3 delays.

I don’t think Reni would be a reason to not port the game. The Phil Collins concert more likely yes, since it’s full copyright territory.
Still, I wish a port of those games because VCS is what I consider the best version of VC so far.
