This username comes from a character in PAYDAY 2 - Houston. One of his in-game lines when trying to intimidate civilians is ‘Don’t Act Dumb!’ which became a meme in that game community and even got a terrible song dedicated to it during a Halloween event. Houston was my favourite character so I simply wanted to use something related to him as a username and this quote immediately sprung up.
The ‘ey’ part is something he loudly exclaims during stealth portions of missions every time you mark guards with the spotting mechanic. All other characters have much quieter, whisper lines for that such as ‘watch out for the guard’ or whatever but Houston, who is supposed to be the ‘ghost’ of the crew, just doesn’t give a shit.
I actually hate the username since it’s just a game quote and not an actual name but changing it everywhere would cause a massive headache which I’d rather not deal with.
Got my username a long time ago. I was one of the founders of our local Juso party (Young Socialists) back in the 90ies (I was 16 or 17 years old). To celebrate we organised a party and I was the dj there. Decided to go with something connected to socialism (not to be confused with communism). So took the anagram from Jusos (that’s how we called us) and the name of the russian spaceship Sojus. Hence DJ Sojus. It’s my handle since then almost everywhere. And I still dj under this moniker. How it turned into Infra Moon I do not remember but I use it pretty much everywhere now.
I changed It to Infrarer Sun as a “Forum evolves, I evolve” meme when the new forum started but only use it here and I don’t like it as much.
badeaguard comes from a combination of 2 words. My family name is Badea, a quite common Romanian surname.
Instead guard comes from my old profession as a hotel night porter and since I don’t mind my family name and I really loved my ex profession, I somehow came up with this genius nickname.
In real life everyone knows me as Alex but my full name is Alexandru, another typical Romanian name.
I’ve only ever been Quinn on HitmanForum - I’ve used it since joining a decade ago. I have no deep justification for picking that name, other than I occasionally used the name Gideon Quinn online before then. That was a name given to Hannibal Lecter in early script drafts for Silence of the Lambs before it was 100% clear they had the rights.
This blows my mind. I’ve spent the last decade assuming this was either a reference to Harley Quinn or LoL. The Silence of the Lambs trivia is new to me.

I got mine from trying to think of something cool for my xbox username and i thought Khakiasp sounded good when i was 10. The Khaki part comes from the color and pants which i heard in some video and thought sounded really cool despite Khaki genuinly being one of the most boring colors on the planet. and the Asp part was just tacked on to make it a bit longer. Though nowadays I prefer the shorter Khaki
this story makes me feel better about when I created my 3DS profile name. You’d think I choose something cool, game-related, or close to me — nope!
I was, for some reason, looking at the Steam Store Page as I was setting it up, couldn’t think of a name, so I saw the video-game Rust (which I don’t and never have played) and came up with the username Rustorm.
One of the weirdest decisions I’ve ever made, doesn’t relate to me at all and I can’t change that on my 3DS unfortunately. (Good thing the Switch uses a whole different system!)
zubin47 is my username (also my PS4 id), where Zubin is my real name and we all know about the number 47.
I use this username in all the games (apart from hitman). I have used this id from the start, and it is the way it was, maybe I could have kept something cooler that time.
Hitman Codename 47 is my second computer game after Project IGI (about 20 years back).
With this my other name ‘Kim Bo Kastekniv’ is a cheat used in Codename 47.
