The March 27th 2025 Patch Discussion - PSVR2, New Roadmap + More!

Anyone know why since 2016 this morgue doctor has always walked round to the left (his right) but for the patch they changed his direction?

Seems like an utterly pointless and time wasting change that doesn’t add anything to the gameplay and I’m pretty sure the community wasn’t clamouring for.

Ohh gosh, was that just changed in the recent patch?

I feel like I’ve seen him be a bit broken before, but I think that was him turning all the way around towards his left before walking around the side to his right (rather than a simple turn right to get there)

This is, I hope just a broken pathfinder, and not an intentional change.
(I’m sure speedrunners would count on that half a second more he takes going the opposite end of the table.

Right but for regular folks, it gives you a longer window to get off the table, especially with that extra guard in alerted.

…Hopefully it’s not just PSVR2 and some of those bug fixes are for the Flat game?
Hopefully there’s fixes for other platforms too? :thinking::sad_but_relieved_face:

If there were “over 100 bug fixes and improvements” coming to all versions of the games we’d probably have seen those in the latest changelog instead of typo and model fixes :confused:

Are they seriously doing a PS5-only patch for PSVR2 issues when Freelancer is broken on other platforms?!

I should be disappointed, but at this point all I can do is laugh at how terrible IO are doing with everything nowadays. Its like they want people to be pissed off at them.

Found a new bug on Bangkok on PS5. Some of the door prompts are at the top of the door and make it very difficult to open.

I’ve only seen this on Freelancer and haven’t looked in the main game.

yep just saw this too. was posted by The Rieper 47 on Roulette; it also means you can’t even shoot them open as normal:

hopefully thursday patch irons all these weird vr bugs out.

I don’t want to beg, but could we also get fix on that missing head of one of Race Marshall’s disguises in Miami? It’s a very jarring bug that has been caught by many eyes already.

i remember didnt when this level came out the guy on the right was the one who moved? i remember cj saying that in one of his pro mode videos

I think the invisible flamingos took ‘only’ a couple weeks to fix so here’s hoping this one gets done quick too. However the flamingo target image is still bugged in contracts I think. And after all some bugs take them literally years to fix so I am measuring my expectations.

Personally I think the PSVR fixes, as that appears to be their focus right now, is all this patch will be, but maybe they will unintentionally fix the main game bugs since it’s seemingly what caused a lot of them.

We could do with reporting it as a Player Ticket from a few of us so it gets more attention of likely getting a fix.

In my opinion, one or two tickets it won’t be seen as a priority, so we could do with a few of us sending one :slightly_smiling_face:

Looking back at some H1 videos, sometimes he goes left, sometimes right, so they must have changed his direction at some point during season 1. Like @TheChicken said, it’s likely a broken pathfinder.

Maybe IO will eventually break so many things that everything will revert itself to it’s original state.
With a couple more patches we’ll have lethal fire extinguishers and double breaching charges back!

I came across a flamingo contract a few days ago and it seems like the mugshot issue was fixed? No mention of it in the patch notes though :x

IOI updates (more like regenerates) the navmesh every patch. The NPC is likely pathing differently because of that.
