I liked Colorado’s design. The map had problems, but it wasn’t (to me) because it was too flat or badly designed. I think Colorado was poorer because there were too many targets and they didn’t generally have very good routes. Sean Rose was the best default route but the rest were rather boring. It could have been much improved by halving the number of targets and expanding their movements.
I feel like tho that most of the times vertical maps are more interesting than flat maps in Hitman. So im making an educated guess
I didnt realize just how well IOI listened lol
You know coming to these old forum posts is funny to see stuff like this complaining about the fact there’s bugs in the trilogy when I myself have never encountered any of these bugs and the ones I now know about are indeed banned from the game’s speedrunning leaderboards and have been since launch
I also think that speedrunners and the like should demand IO actually remove cheaters from PC leaderboards (the only platform able to get the fastest times) rather than complain that they can potentially use cool tech, which they already have banned new players from attempting to use anyway. Speedrunning is cliquey and demanding imo. Hence the “IO hates speedrunners” mentality the whole forum has
I’d be all for this but sadly it’s pretty much impossible to distinguish cheaters from actual speedrunners based on leaderboard times alone, unless you painstakingly google each person (which is a task I wouldn’t want to inflict even to an AI).
I kinda wanna try to do the 24 hour trick to mess up the leaderboards even more
