[A mock-up of a Soviet air force base in Cuba, somewhere in an unknown mountain facility. All the buildings are constructed out of ply-wood. The ICA Am-Dram Society volunteers playing the roles of the base staff are really committed to their performances.]
[Agent 47 is talking to the NPC who just picked up his Coin distraction lure.]
47: Don’t put it in your pocket, sir. Don’t put it in your pocket. It’s your lucky quarter.
Luca Wood: Where do you want me to put it?
47: Anywhere not in your pocket. Where it’ll get mixed in with the others and become just a coin. Which it is.
Yet another movie where I’m pretty sure WoA at least borrowed some ideas. Anton has a shotgun with a detachable suppressor at the end of the barrel like the ones 47 can acquire (shotguns with suppressors built into them are possible, ones with detachable suppressors are… shall we say, logically problematic), and Woody Harrelson kinda looks like he inspired the cowboy outfit.
Well, that was included as an upgrade that you could choose to use or not. Untouchable had it actually appear as part of the game story, so brining it in with such emphasis I think came about from watching Anton use such a weapon to full effect, and they decided to give it a bigger presence so people could imitate Anton with it.
The official Worstest Most Shit Terrible Who-The-Fuck-Greenlit-This Abomination within the series is Wade’s, “Why do I have wood?” line/scene from Absolution. Well, that and about 50 other tonal/narrative/character moments from Absolution, but Wrath ran them close.
