They could easily write such a “night” into the story. We basically know nothing about 47s past time activities, and what he does when he is not on a hit.

I could easily imagine some “Before the events of the original Hitman 2, when he found to god” sort of stuff, and they just never talked about it because Diana didnt told him, and gave the child away?

Yes, they are unable to recognise when they are being played. Which often leads to either the near destruction of the Agency or death of 47, often both at the same time. Surprise your client is playing you and using for a larger play against yourself and the Agency.
