Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

I’ve been doing that with the Mixtape 47. You can place it, activate it, pick up the rat poison. Walk around and hear whichever tune on loop. And yeah. It’s pretty good for leading guards to boxes.

I’m thinking it was Urben that did or mentioned that somewhere.

Exactly! I remember the first time exploring Sapienza or Hokkaido, I acted like a casual visitor. It was a nice feeling, how unknown and untouched the environment still was.
I’m also fascinated by how the objects react when you destroy/ shoot them. From screens to jam jars, everything has a special sound and animation/ graphic when damaged or destroyed. Whenever I play Mendoza, I can’t resist to smash all the wine bottles.

I agree. In Absolution, the atmosphere was also very well captured. There was a donut store on the Hope map that was just great. I never got the song that plays in the store out of my head. It was a very detailed game for its time. The ragdolls alone.

Even better in VR now

It’s something that was discovered a long time from what I remember ,but it hasn’t been used that much, hence why so many people around here didn’t know about it.

It’s not like it’s that useful anyways.I mean, yeah, you can easily lure a guard anywhere on the map.But how could that ever be useful besides some contracts that require you to lure a guard far away for a weird kill method (ex: street soldier in the market area in Marrakesh+falling object)?

There is a guy hovering around out of bounds in Hokkaido, who will die if you destroy the heart.

He gets discovered every year lel

So really he is the target and some sort of trigger box connects him to the heart and Soders on the table bc both of those are just items? Kinda like Sierra Knox is connected to the car in Miami even though she isn’t really in the car?

Apparently nauseated NPCs have a built-in fail safe that prematurely triggers their puking animation if they don’t manage to reach a bin or toilet in time.

You can test this yourself by continuously bumping into one until they start throwing up on the spot, although it’s fairly unreliable.

Whether an attempt is successful or not seemingly depends on where you are on the map, how quickly and how often you bump into said NPC and whether you load a save or restart the whole mission.

But do wait staff NPCs come clean up the puke?

That would be a cool detail ngl

I still say the spot should act as a slipping hazard and cause an accidental KO. :joy:

You can click on the target icon on the map and it brings up information similar to the objectives screen, with a different presentation:

When you conceal an item in a bin or a basket, it appears on the minimap with an icon similar to Agency pickups.

Not mine. Found it on Reddit:

If you conceal all the bodies in Hitman BM, the Newspaper mentions it through a very specific sentence:

Apparently, hiding bodies equals witchcraft.

It seems a certain Clemens is the voice on this radio above the Laundromat

EDIT: Nevermind, I think in the files it says it’s civmalech01

I swear they sound very alike!

Given that those Block Guards all mostly wear hats/baseball caps, I’d say Clemens must have a side gig. :billed_cap:

As a Block Guard.

Today I learned Marrakesh waiters are allowed in EVERY room in the damn school. You don’t even get frisked going into the school courtyard (At least on casual mode). I knew there was an opportunity to wake a waiter up and let him bring poisoned food, but I didn’t think they’d let waiters walk wherever they want in the compound
