Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

He has mentioned it before and it seems the producers did not want to make it R-rated:

By the way, in the comments of today’s tweet, he says Blood Money is probably his favorite of the series.

Apparently Alma would originally react to “forced entry” on the house, and go into target lockdown.

Was hoping there would be more footage from the H2 beta build on the channel, but sadly not. :frowning:

Other than Grand Theft Auto and Duck Hunter, I can’t think of a single video game that should be easier to make a movie out of than Hitman. And yet they still failed twice, and as much as I like Gunn, his style seems to me like it would have been another failure, as he doesn’t seem like a “source material” kind of guy.

Another thing I should probably already know but also one that doesn’t have a lot of utility:

There’s a thin sheet of water on the stage at the fashion show in Paris:

Semi Related

The Neon Ninja is THE hottest style of the season:

They could probably tone it down though:

Yeah… Definitely tone it down:

It’s “semi related” because you might have gotten blinded by the suit before you saw the barbecuing models. I took it into Paris and had it illuminate my entire world shortly after that NPC said Viktor sure knew how to make an entrance. I promptly jumped up on stage over the slight to my ensemble to show him just how wrong he was. Then, I noticed the little splashes the models (and 47) made. The triple electrocution was to better show my find.

Anyway, long story short, I adore the suit but I also hope IO adjusts the brightness down a few notches. I also hope they adjust the remaining brightness to interact with the environment. It would be extra spicy if it could at least temporarily blind NPCs but that’s the least likely to happen.

That’s a possibility, though I think his take on a Hitman film would be a good alternate adaptation of the IP.

His idea of having GOTG focus on a found-family aspect, tied together by a mixtape of american classics was an original move that brought the group to the mainstream, and is pretty well-regarded.

Peacemaker being a hugely obscure character probably meant he could twist things a bit more to craft a better story. He retained elements of his super-patriotism and rough ancestry, but overall created him to be a portrait of an overly-masculine guy struggling with behaviours instilled by his father, and challenged by the modern world around him.

I’d have loved to see what his pitch was back in the day. It might have twisted things (hopefully not too much like with the “47 is a normal man with hair” from Hulu), but I generally enjoy his work so I’d be open to it

47 can plant the bomb on the Red Negociator’s car while wearing the blue lotus disguise without arousing suspicion. I always thought that 47 can’t approach the car whatever the disguise worn.

Is the HITMAN 2 BETA still available somewhere? I know you’re playing it on the PS4, but I’d love to get my hands on the PC version somehow.

Also TIL that HITMAN 2’s codename was Diesel (as shown by SteamDB), unfortunately I didn’t find any codenames for HITMAN and HITMAN III.

It’s not my footage, but I know how to get it. Basically you just have to Install Hitman 2 on PS4 and not patch it.

There’s not much I noticed. Here’s some screenshots I got when I played 1.00

Also just realized, at the end you hear Alma’s original voice actor (which they changed because it was too young sounding).

Sounds like a generic female NPC

Could be wrong, but I remember in an interview they said the OG Voice for Alma was too childish and made 47 seem like a predator. Maybe it’s one of the NPC voice actors?

Thank god that didn’t happen. I fear it would be similar to his current style of film making. So far I despise his type of humor. It undercuts tension, a lot of MCU films suffer from this.

The same can be said about Taika Waititi. If Lucasfilm scraps his movie I’ll rest easy.

A Hitman movie could use a talent like Guy Richie. But I fear that we will never get a good film adaption. The Tv-Show is surely dead.

What’s difficult is that a perfect assassin always being perfect doesn’t make for a great film. You need something to go wrong and/or, what is commonly used, is a double cross and now the hitman is fighting for his life. This inevitably results in more shooting and blow up and explosion than the game fan base wants to see.

It could certainly be done well. I just don’t think it’ll ever happen.

Ah, so it’s just the OG shipped version of H2 rather than an actual beta.

You’d think that would make Sean and Orson seem like the predators, considering they were both canonically having sex with her! Killing someone somewhat childish sounding seems a little less horrible when compared to that.

…Alma is in her 30s or something, who cares how her voice sounds like?

Reality doesn’t matter to most people, just perception.

Speaking of Alma… Edit: I guess maybe a warning should go right here. Kinda gets pretty f’ed up. But think about it…

Well, first off - since I’ve been playing the Colorado Patient Zero (sandbox mod) I’ve noticed a couple guards mention Reynard and Berg in the same sentence. Which makes me think how Alma must be an interrogator. (Sorry if I missed this detail, perhaps in writing somewhere).

Which brings me back to the people she had tied up and were dead in her garage.

So, what would Alma do with the bodies of people that die while she’s interrogating them?

There’s a lot of beach/sandy area. But there’s also Alma’s dog.

So has anyone ever thought that maybe they feed the body parts to the dog? :flushed:
Maybe Orson chops them up… That might explain the twisted artwork they have hanging on the walls.

Edit2: AND, I suppose it’d make sense to use the dog as part of the interrogation.

Yeah, I think it’s explicitly mentioned that those guards who are digging on the beach near the truck that you have to blow up to cause a distraction we’re going to bury those bodies in that hole, after using the fuel in the back of that truck to burn them past the point of identification. Never considered that thing with Max, though. Nice hypothesis, it makes sense considering all else that is said about this monster dog, and knowing Alma’s cruel streak.
