Just now while playing Freelancer in Sapienza, found a banana in the apartament where you can find the village guard disguise. It’s in the same room where you find the Bartoli 75R pistol.
Wonder if other Season 1 locations got stuff added aswell.

This banana is in all variants of Sapienza… and in The Author it’s floating above a cow skull since the table it’s supposed to be on is no longer there :x
AFAIK only Sapienza and Santa Fortuna got new bananas (at least, according to Hitmaps) which is not much

It was added in the most recent content update with the (sort of) new Wiz Khalifa CelebrET they also added some bananas to a few maps and a pipe to the Colorado water tower

I’m not sure when it happened, but this line has been removed from Zoe and Sophia Washington’s in-game biography:
‘Their distant slave ancestors, brought from Benin in chains, practiced Vodun and they like to say that something dark and feral runs in the Washington bloodline.’
A shame, because it was an interesting bit of lore, but I guess even mentioning slavery is not allowed these days and [REST OF POST CENSORED FOLLOWING LEGAL ADVICE]

Well that’s fucking stupid. They could have changed it to “Due to the African Diaspora…” if they just wanted it to be more politically correct. But to completely erase that part of their background does them a massive disservice. Sophia and Zoe have American accents, which means their ancestors were likely slaves. Just like every other Black American, including me. My literal great-grandmother was a freed slave. IOI needs to put that back.
