Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

It’s free strawberry jam.

For the patients that want to eat and use the toilet at the same time. The bread is just hiding under the toilet seat.

Yeah thank God fans saved those, but there is just a lot of memories in reading the announcements of everything that happened in 2016 2017

New York is probably one of my most played map. But I didn’t know until now, that the nervous stock broker who constantly walks to the bathroom also occasionally goes for a smoke here:

I’m not sure what triggered this. But this could make for a nice contract where you have to push him over this railing with a no KO complication…

Also: those numbers on the top left of the box kind of seem like a contract-ID. Two digits missing. Probably going to test a few variants and see if there’s a hidden special contract.

Best bet would probably be to test this in Hitman 2, I imagine IO may have forgotten to recreate that contract.

Also, if my maths are sound (very unlikely) then there are 99 combinations for the last 2 digits, we could get a couple of people to brute force this

When you happen to witness his “hobby”, he interrupts his route and maybe goes there for a cigarette.
I never followed him to see what he’s doing if he’s unable to sniff off, maybe he ends up there.
But you don’t need that for your suggested contract. Sieker that guard who’s leaned onto the boxes and toss a coin near these railings when this guy is just on to enter the loo. He’ll come over to investigate and if you threw a coin right, you’ll get a Push prompt on him (he has to be close to railings)

Good point.

In which case, it might make for an interesting contract by adding gun shots must hit an NPC complication and placing a leaking propane tank at the top of the stairs.

But then again you could just put this tank with a taser in the stall where he goes to snort some coke. Except: Adding a few more targets with special kill conditions so you have no chance to bring a taser in the first place.

In almost every briefing of the Hitman trilogy, you can see the time that each mission takes place, I’ll list here the ones I’ve found

Paris - 19:47
Sapienza - 13:54
Marrakesh - 14:03
Bangkok - 09:03
Colorado- 06:03
Hokkaido - 08:03
Hawkes Bay - 22:47 *
Miami - 16:30
Santa Fortuna - 09:48
Mumbai - 19:37
Whittleton Creek - 15:52
Isle of Sgail - 18:52

Past here things get kind of sketchy as the briefings switched to cutscenes. This is open to feedback so please let me know if you have any information :slightly_smiling_face:

The only concrete information I have is that Chongqing takes place after midnight, as mentioned in dialogue

*Hawkes Bay time was found by the clock on Reynards computer

I feel lied to, I’ve always thought that Bangkok took place in the evening

Chongqing is around 03:00 according to the NPCs.

But are you sure those times refer to the actual time in mission? I always thought they´re more likely just the times when Diana gives you the briefing… (which isn´t necessarily the same) Particularly Bangkok, Colorado and Hokkaido definitely feel like they take place in the late afternoon/evening.

And actually, checking in-game with the minimap, Bangkok and Hokkaido really do. Only Colorado is in the morning (which is honestly a surprise to me, but I never bothered to check the sun´s position…).

Just so you know, EMP Charge can also detonate propane tank. Leaked propane tank, that’s important

I know. EMP is one of my favorite items in the game. That’s why I probably won’t make a contract with an explosion kill there but going for a fall kill with a no KO complication.

I found out recently that Brother Akram is in the Source mission in Bangkok. He is one of the cult bodyguards. Somehow he becomes a coward in the next mission and cowers when you aim a gun at him :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

This is kinda off-topic to this thread but this is one of the reasons I hate the H2 DLC and H3 briefings. H1 briefings are the perfect briefing to the missions, I know that IOI is trying to integrate the story more but I really liked the idea of having videos that just give you info about the location’s security and infiltration methods, mission info and target info, [Paris briefing being a perfect example of this], compared to, say, the Dubai briefing, which could’ve been split into a cutscene and a briefing instead of being a cutscene that fades into the briefing.

If its the same format then it gets pretty boring after 5 years, however I do miss the professionalism that HITMAN 2016 offers.

Blame Patient Zero - it’s where the line between cutscene and mission briefing first began to get blurred. They really should’ve stuck to a consistent style so that the game wouldn’t feel so disjointed when playing the whole trilogy through under one roof (which was always the end goal) - since the “lines” of where the different parts start/end are pretty obvious.
